WDC TPO 178 Rear garden 2 x Beech (T1 & T2) - Fell to ground level. Reason - Trees have been poorly reduced (see photo), side load has been left meaning all weight is now heading towards neighbouring property. The nature of the pruning cuts, considering the species means re-growth is highly unlikely. T3 Beech - Reduce and reshape by 2.5m MAX. Reason - Tree has a heavy lean over shed, will reduce wind sail and stresses on main stem.

Rear garden 1 x young Sycamore - Reduce by up to 50%, to keep small 1 x Sweet Chestnut - Remove 2 x low branches overhanging shed

Rear garden bordering water meadow 1 x Silver Birch Tree - Crown reduction due to excessive growth threatening damage to shed.

Rear garden 3 x Oaks - Remove 2 lowest limbs over shed, Remove 2 lowest limbs from middle tree overhanging neighbours grass and reduce limb over neighbours flat roof and conservatory by 1.5m

1 x Holly - Reduce and shape by up to 50% ensuring overhanging branches are reduced. Reason: The Holly tree is covered in ivy and is leaning across the alleyway and towards several low hanging cables. It is also encroaching on sheds.

Monkey Puzzle Tree (Araucaria Araucariaceae) and Evergreen Oak Tree (Quercus ilex) in the front garden of The Retreat. The Monkey Puzzle is so large that if it fell during a storm there would be significant damage to any of the 4 houses that surround it. It sheds branches in windy weather. We would like to remove the whole tree. We have spoken with a tree surgeon and he advises that removal would be a good solution. The Evergreen Oak is large, heavy, diseased and unbalanced. About 15% overhangs the public pavement and the High Street (A1120) and if the diseased bough fell during a storm there would be significant hazard to road users. About 40% is angled towards 2 neighbouring houses and if this bough fell during a storm there would be significant damage to one or both houses. We would like to pollard the tree by removing the heavy overbalanced parts of both the main boughs.

TPO 178 - Woodland behind South Pork owned by Pine Trees Park Drive Beccles T1- Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) - Pollard to approximately 15ft to appropriate growth points. T2- Sweet Chestnut (Sativa Castanea) - Pollard to approx. 20ft to appropriate growth points. Reason: These two trees are growing from within Mr stringer's property and overhanging the boundary of both Southpork and its neighbouring property Mile End casting excessive shade over the two gardens. The sweet chestnut has shed a large limb in recent winds so residents are concerned for safety of overhanging limbs. Mr Stringer has been contacted regarding the trees and has provided written consent for the work to be undertaken.
