The entrance to the north shop was introduced during the division of the commercial units. Originally all glass, the proposal is to replace the modern door and side panel frame with a lobby door more appropriate to the 1930's and would replicate the idea of shopfront lobby as the one to the south. Within the recess, a new floor will be installed to the new lobby of either tiles or a mosaic flooring, this is designed to clearly denote the entrance to the shop. The missing grille above the north shopfront will be reinstated as powder coated aluminium in a pale grey or off-white to best match the colour of the stone.
