Reason: Trees have a tall thin canopy due to being part of the woodland, with the recent development of these new properties both oak trees are now exposed to new wind forces and being close to the property they have a higher risk of causing damage. Pollarding will introduce a dense canopy that can be maintained periodically and remove risk of failing laterals.

TPO ESC 0001/2019 See accompanying survey and plan: T5 Oak (TPO T1) Reduce crown by 2m. Remove deadwood and clear ivy. T6 Oak (TPO T2) Reduce crown height by 2.5-3m. Reduce lateral spread by 1.5-2m. Remove deadwood and clear ivy. T7 Beech (TPO T3) Reduce crown by 2m. Raise crown to 5m. on development side only removing only sub-laterals. Remove lowest small primary lateral on development side.

TPO 4 & 5 Trees numbered as per plan. T1,T2,T3,T4 - 4 x Evergreen Oak - Reduce to the retrenchment line as shown in the pictures. Reason: The four trees are showing considerable levels of die back and are staring to collapse. The reduction will leave them structurally sound where they will retrench and re-establish leaving the trees sustainable for the lodge. development.

T1 Lime Tree (front garden) east side near Aldebugh Road application for tree felling of Lime Tree, Reason for works, To extend drive way and install soak away, the drive/soak away can only be installed in this location due to underground cables and sewage pipeworks in the other areas within the property. Reason for works is to enable visitors and deliveries to enter/park on property without parking on the highway causing traffic accident near misses due to a new junction supplying a new housing development opposite.
