TPO 170/2003 T4 Sycamore proposed to fell sycamore. Tree causing excessive shading of the garden and surrounding garden; is growing to close to the property and dropping branches onto the roof and into the neighbouring garden; the tree is in poor health and has limbs dying back; it has grown into two main trunks with the split very close to the base and with the extra weight at the top , and is shading an oak tree which would do better with the extra space.

TPO ESC 028 2021 T1 Oak - Reduce and reshape by up to 3m. Remove one limb. Reason: Tree has been pollarded in the past and heavily reduced on one side, reduction will balance tree and bring more light and space into garden and neighbouring properties. Limb to be removed as causing damage to roof of outside structure. The application to include the removal of the limb is REFUSED, as the removal of this large limb would leave too large a wound and adversely affect the trees long term health. As agreed and accepted by email exchange with tree owner 23 October 2021. The following tree works are agreed to as qualified consent. T1 Oak - Reduce and reshape by up to 3m and crown thin by the removal of rubbing / crossing branches and deadwood.

T1 Small leaning Sycamore - to be felled, tree leaning towards house and encroaching on roof. T2 Oak - 2m. side reduction away from house.

The horse chestnut next to spot height 78.04 has been identified as being subject to a TPO. Please see the attached documents. The lower limbs cause damage to the roof of the adjacent garages and potentially any vehicles parked in front of them. It is proposed that the lower overhanging branches be removed up to a height of approximately 6 metres but retaining the main limb that frames the entrance to South Close. Some branches up to 8 metres up also hang down over the garages and driveway and is is proposed that these also be removed.

TPO SCDC 1998:113 T1 Walnut, This is a young tree which is out growing its position. It overhangs 3 gardens including the neighbouring house roof and has high future growth potential. Reduce the crown by up to 30% by pruning in the outermost branch ends by 2-3m. Lift the crown all round to approx. 3m. Work required to maintain crown size in relation to its surroundings.
