Replace the existing windows with upvc sash with haunches and Georgian bars. The current windows are a mixture of original wooden sashes which are in bad repair, and more modern windows with a top opening window which opens outwards., again in disrepair, and upvc sash as described above. We would like the building to mirror the attached property, which we also own. We went to great length next door to re-instate the bay and we were given permission to replace those windows with upvc sash. We intend to rent out the flat above the shop and understand that upvc windows are more energy efficient and easier to maintain. This also will mean that all the windows in the property will match.
