Remove asbestos garage. Internal alterations to existing bungalow and extension to rear and side. Change windows and render front and side of existing bungalow. Re-roof complete building

Extend bungalow pitched roof over attached garage. Extend garage to rear of bungalow and beyond by 1.8 metres. Insert one rooflight to front and rear pitched roof over existing garage and garage extended part. The pitch of the extension beyond the rear line of the bungalow follows the pitch existing roof to lessen the impact as the land falls away from the dwelling. A windowed bay and the garage at each end of the bungalow projects 1.3m out from the main building line. A canopy reaches from one projection to the other with a framed porch under the bayed end. It is proposed to demolish existing front porch and rebuild. Block up existing bathroom window and insert a rooflight in roof pitch over bathroom.

Rear extension to a 1970's bungalow to provide a larger living/kitchen/dining area and 3rd bedroom. Timber clad with bi-fold doors out from the living space and 3rd bedroom. A roof lantern would provide light to the rear of the living space and the modernisation of the bungalow would mean that the building could be effectively insulated. Our intention is to knock down our current garage and use the space to create two additional bedrooms and a bathroom that will be joined to our existing bungalow. This will be a single storey side extension with one additional rear external door and three external windows. In addition we will be relocating our existing manhole cover by roughly 1m to allow for the building work. we plan on building a pitched roof on the extension to match the existing roof.
