Discharge of Condition No 3 of DC/19/3655/LBC - Listed Building Consent - Small extensions to Kitchen and Side entrance; Removal of cementitious render from main house and associated internal alterations - The product we are using is supplied by Anglia Lime, Chilton Industrial Estate, Sudbury CO10 2XD and will be applied in three coats; Basecoat Anglia Lime Thermalime Middlecoat Anglia Lime Thermalime Topcoat Anglia Lime Finelime Both of these products are a ready mix blend of lime and chalk as the aggregate with fibres as reinforcement. They are breathable and flexible lime plasters/renders. Thermalime also includes a mineral which gives it an insulating quality. Chalk is a lighter and more flexible aggregate than sand and is historically accurate, being developed after analysing East anglian historic plasters. The two basecoats will be scratched to providea mechanical key for the subsequent coat and will be lightly dampened when the subsequent coat is ready to be applied. It will be finished with a breathable limewash to maintain vapour permeability approx four weeks after applying the top coat.

The proposal seeks to upgrade the barn, which already has a kitchen, shower room and upper storage area into a more habitable annex, which can be used for additional accommodation. The proposal also seeks to convert the existing garage into an office and gymnasium, both served by a WC containing a shower and with the addition of a side extension to house garden machinery and equipment whilst also providing a new discreet new setting for the oil tank which serves the listed Willow Farmhouse.
