Replacement/extension of current outbuilding to create a home office as well as replacement windows on the main dwelling as described in D&A statement

Prior Notification - Change of Use from Offices (Class B1(a)) to Dwellinghouses (Class C3) The proposed works will restore the mid-terraced property, currently used as office space, to its original purpose of a single residential dwelling. This will involve full refurbishment of the interior, including upgrades to the electric and plumbing systems to comply with current regulations and also improve the energy efficiency of the dwelling. Additionally, external walls and roof space will be insulated further ensuring the property's energy efficiency. A fully fitted kitchen and utility room will be installed on the ground floor at the rear of the property. A ground floor WC/shower room will also be created, bringing the number of bathroom facilities in line with modern living. On the first floor, there is currently a small kitchenette and separate WC, these will be converted into a family bathroom. The proposed works will also incorporate full decor and new flooring throughout to create a light and spacious family home. All rooms have external windows allowing plenty of natural light. The bedrooms will be fitted with fire escape windows. There will be no changes to the exterior at the front of the property, other than tidying up the small front garden and painting of windowsills and lintels to improve the kerb appeal. To the rear, a low maintenance garden will be enclosed by a fence and the parking spaces will be accessed via a garden gate.

Additional Environmental Approval of DC/17/0430/FUL - (Construction of a first floor extension to the front of the care home. A new lift shaft is also proposed at the back of the care home. The second floor is to be changed from offices to bedrooms whilst the ground floor will have part of its layout changed to make use of space better. Two chimneys are proposed to be demolished as well as some internal walls to create the lift shaft as well as change the floors layouts. Part of the existing roof will be demolished for the new roof of the first floor extension. The two dormer windows will also be demolished with two new ones in their place.) - extension of permission expiry period to 1 May 2021.
