It is bounded by residential property on two sides, a paddock to the rear and is on the residential fringe of Westleton. The prevailing scale in the neighbourhood is varied with traditional one and two storey dwellings with one much larger property next door. 3. The existing house is to be extended to provide a single storey garage and an additional bedroom and ground floor bathroom to make the accommodation more modern and flexible. 4. The proposed dwelling will have no openings onto neighbouring properties and is screened by hedges and fences with the principal trees and boundary hedging and fencing being retained. 5.
