Reconfiguration of the bay window roofs on the front elevation - The original approval included a glassed roof conservatory to the rear of the premises. The conservatory is to remain the same size, but will now have a solid flat roof in lieu of the approved glass roof. The bedroom window above the conservatory is a fire escape window and East Suffolk Building Control have advised a flat roof would be a far better option in terms of means of escape from the first floor bedroom.
