Cut down and remove stumps of five self-seeded trees; Willow (T1), Sycamore (T2), Hazel (T3), Hazel (T4), and Elder (T6). Lift crown of Cypress tree (T5) to 3 metres above ground level where it overhangs internment area. Crown lift Sycamore (T7) to 3 metres above ground level where it encroaches over gravestones. Remove thicket of Laurel bushes (B1), due to encroachment on path and adjacent ashes internment area.

Fell 1 x Holly tree that is approximately 2.5 metres in diameter and 4 metres high. The Holly tree has grown very high and wide, and even after pruning is affecting light and access to the glazed extension which was permitted in July 23. After consideration we wish to remove the Holly tree and replace elsewhere due to the Holly tree impinging on the property. The Holly Tree is within 2 metres of the new building extension and restricting light and view. Replacement Holly trees have been planted in the orchard hedge. Replacement trees in garden.

T1 is a mature Holm Oak standing to the South-east corner of the property and partially overhanging neighbouring property to south. Applicant would like to crown lift 2 limbs growing towards Lucy Court to south where they overhang. Remove 1 limb and cut back the second, also remove upright growth associated with these two limbs. This is to allow more light to adjacent property and to prevent the tree becoming a nuisance to neighbours. T2 is a Yew growing in the same area as T1, this overhangs neighbours car parking area. Applicant proposes removing lowest two limbs where they overhang.

Fell 1 x Alder (T1 on submitted sketch plan), and 1 x Sycamore (T2), due to close proximity to outbuilding, which requires extensive repairs and maintenance. Plant two replacement trees at locations as indicated on the submitted sketch plan (species to be confirmed).

Fell 5 x Ash trees covered by DFTPO 205 (1 x Ash from G1 and 4 x Ash from G2), due to the presence of Ash Dieback.

Undertake the following work to an Oak tree on the southern boundary of the property. Reduce lateral branches overhanging two neighbouring gardens to the south by between 10 and 20% and reduce lateral branches on the north side of the tree accordingly to retain balance. Remove any dead or hung-up branches.

Undertake the following work to four Lime trees covered by groups G2 and G3 of DFTPO 29 (Tree numbers as per the submitted tree survey and accompanying sketch plan). T2630 (G2); Crown lift to 5 metres over road and entrance. T2634 (G2); Crown lift over marquee to give 2 metres clearance. T2635 (G3); Remove basal shoots. T2637 (G3); Carefully sever and remove a section of the girdled root on the northern side of the tree.

Fell 1 x Variegated Poplar (A on the submitted sketch plan), due to declining condition, and to allow more space and light for the adjacent Ash tree. Fell 2 x immature Cypress trees (B and C), to allow more light through the canopy for the adjacent native and ornamental trees. Coppice 5 x Hazel trees (D, E, F, G and H).

Zelkova serrata (T1 on submitted sketch plan). Reduce by between 1 and 1.5 metres in accordance with BS 3998:2010. In order to prevent tree from becoming too large for its location.

Reduce height of Tulip Tree by approximately 5 metres, and reduce overall crown spread by between 3 and 4 metres.
