Oak tree (E02 on submitted sketch plan). Reduce branches overhanging boundary fence on north-east side of the tree by between 1 and 1.5 metres, and undertake similar crown reductions on the south and west sides of the tree in order to maintain a balanced shape.

Mature Narrow-leaved Ash in rear of garden overhanging neighbouring properties to the rear and side of Driftwood House. Application to pollard current tree to a height of approximately 15 metres. Tree has not been maintained in previous years and is now excessively large causing excessive leaf litter to neighbouring properties and potential risk of damage to boundary fence.

Crown reduction of approx 15% and crown lifting to a height of approx 2 metres to four trees adjacent to neighbour's fence and garage to prevent branches from contacting neighbour's property, and in addition to allow more light into that part of the garden. Trees to be reduced are T1 (Lime), T2 (London Plane), T3 (Lime) and T4 (Lime), all situated along the perimeter of the property and overhanging the neighbour's property. All trees were planted at the same time and are approx 15m high and 1m from neighbouring property.

Works to two Oak trees covered by G1 of DFTPO 246: Minor pruning in accordance with BS3998:2010. Approximate pruning points as indicated on images supplied by the applicant (see Site Plan). In order to maintain clearance from power line, over boundary fence and to maintain distance from property. Canopies to be treated as a single entity to prevent branch failure. Major deadwood will also be removed.

Cut back overgrown hedgerow trees consisting of Hazel, Damson and Thorn by approximately 1.2 metres to boundary fence, in order to prevent failure onto footpath and neighbour's gardens.

Reduce the crowns of 1 x Silver Birch, 1 x Ash and 1 x Beech on the boundary with A4151 by approximately 2-3 metres (30%) due to them overhanging boundary fence into road. Reduce the crowns of 2 x Norway Maple trees next to classrooms by approximately 2-3 metres (30%) to allow more natural light. Fell and remove 2 x conifers next to classrooms, due to them both blocking natural light.

Fell 2 x Cypress trees in the rear garden. Both trees have outgrown their location, are pushing out the garden fence, and causing damage to tarmac on the shared drive.

Reduce height of Palm tree (Trachycarpus fortunei) to 1.8 metres, due to proximity to summer house, boundary fence and overhead power cable.

Remove storm damaged boughs from two fir trees in front garden. Reduce height of Silver Birch in front garden by approximately 40%. Reduce height of conifer in back garden by approximately 50%. Remove storm damaged boughs from fir tree in back garden. Remove bough of Walnut tree next to boundary fence in back garden.

Removal of 1 x Silver Birch tree that is damaging boundary wall and leaning towards adjacent property. Removal of 1 x Elder that is damaging neighbour's fence. 40% crown reduction of 5 x Silver Birch trees reducing risk to overhead fibre cable. 40% crown reduction of 1 x Maple with intention to reshape. 50% crown reduction of 1x Hawthorn tree with intention to reshape and incorporate in new hedgerow. Works to 1 x Oak tree to include a crown reduction of 20% and crown thin of 10% reducing risk to overhead fibre cable.
