Remove 1 x dead Cherry Tree. Remove 6 dead trees close behind garden shed, to allow the other trees space to grow. Remove 1 x large multi stem Cypress towards the upper part of the garden, as it is overgrown and dominating the garden, causing potential risk to neighbouring buildings.

T1 - Remove large ash in back garden leaning over neighbours garden and fell small ash (not marked on sketch). T2 - Failed willow, clear from western red cedar to leave monolith at approx 2m. T3 - Reduce chestnut near black shed by 2-3m. T4 - Crown clean apple tree and reduce by approx 2m.

Silver Birch adjacent to lay-by in north west corner; 20% crown reduction. Cherry adjacent to lay-by in north-west corner; no more than 15% crown reduction. Yew along eastern edge of driveway; reduce eastern side of tree away from property boundary and reduce in height by 1 metre. Maple in centre of garden; 20% crown reduction. Prunus in eastern corner of garden; 20% crown reduction. Remove 1 x Hazel and 1 x Elder adjacent to shed; replant with Sweet Gum, Eucalyptus and Fig.

6 x tall Ash trees on Parish Council owned land on Castle Ditch - fell to ground level for safety reasons due to the presence of Ash Dieback disease. 4 are located at rear of barns, 1 at rear of Woodland View house and 1 at rear of shed in garden of Woodland View.

Undertake work to four ash trees covered by DFTPO11 (A3). Remove two small diameter ash trees identified with pink crosses. Tree 1 and 2 on accompanying map. DBH is approximately 20cm. Situated approximately 2m away from the boundary wall but growing towards the light in a southerly direction one of which will strike the wall and shed/woodstore in the neighbouring property, Rockfields, if it fell. Both trees are suffering with the onset of ADB to stage 3 (50% to 75% canopy loss). The third tree is of larger diameter at approximately 50 cm DBH. With ADB to stage 2/3 this tree has one large limb of approximate diameter 30cm, at approximately 7m up the stem. The branch is leaning out over the garden of Rockfields and will strike the property if it fell. The removal of this one branch would reduce the risk of damage to person and property within the grounds of Rockfield. Tree four is again a large diameter with a DBH of approximately 60cm. It is growing on top/very close to the boundary wall. At approximately 5m the tree bifurcates into two large stems each of approximately 30-40cm diameter. Overall height of the tree is estimated at 20-25m. This tree has a heavy lean towards the property of Rockfields and has the capability of causing serious damage upon failing. It is also suffering ADB to stage 2. The application for work to this tree is to pollard at a height of approximately 6m in order to retain some of the stem for biodiversity and to monitor and manage accordingly.

(1) Twin stemmed Lawson Cypress by the potting shed. Fell to near ground level to allow more space for the Walnut to grow into. (2) Weeping Ash on the boundary. This tree is now showing signs of Ash Dieback. Fell to near ground level.

Erection of detached garage with hardstanding / parking area. Demolition of existing sheds and garage. Removal of trees.

Remove 1 x Douglas Fir, as the tree is dying back and is situated over a shed/greenhouse and over a public footpath.
