KCC Consultation - Development of an enclosed electronic waste (E-Scrap) transfer facility, involving shredding, sampling, sorting, and bulking up of electronic waste streams for onward transportation to recycling/management facilities. The proposed development includes the demolition of existing buildings, construction of a new steel framed waste transfer building, firewater storage tank and associated plant, dust extraction unit, office and staff welfare building, new areas of concrete hard standing and footways, upgrade to site drainage, construction of a re-aligned access point off Manor Way and retention of vehicular access to the adjacent wharf.

Demolition of rear extension with the construction of a two storey rear extension from basement level, alterations to front elevation and change of use from Use Class E(a) hairdressers to Use Class E(gi) office space on ground floor and basement level.

Construction of replacement river jetty approach (existing landside approach ramp to be demolished - remainder of existing 1950's jetty approach to be retained but retired from use); erection of replacement office/mess facilities to south eastern corner of site and associated re-arrangement of existing employee/guest car park; demolition of existing office, site clearance and works to provide relocated open storage area; and other ancillary works.
