Non-material amendments to planning permission reference: 2019/01306/FUL dated 7th July 2020 for the "Demolition of detached house and garage, erection of a replacement three storey building comprising of 6 self-contained residential flats (1 x 1 bedroom, 5 x 2 bedroom) with balconies at first and second floor levels; erection of a detached two-storey, 3-bedroom dwellinghouse; erection of associated cycle and bin storage enclosures; landscaping works including new off-street parking; and a new boundary wall to Old Oak Road and Aldbourne Road." Amendments sought are the installation of a new obscured bathroom window to the front elevation at second floor level, and the installation of a glass roof over the hallway entrance. Obscured window does not materially change the design and appearance of the property, and being obscured will not impact on privacy of any surrounding property. Glass roof will be behind parapet and not visible fom anywhere in the public domian, nor will it impact on the amenity of any of the surrounding properties.

Installation of bi-folding doors to replace the existing shutter doors and replacement of the single door with a stable door and a window above in the south east elevation in connection with the change of use of the existing garage (Class E) into habitable accommodation to use as a garden room (Class C3), ancillary to the use of The Mews House as a single dwellinghouse.

Demolition of existing single storey garage and erection of a replacement single storey outbuilding in the rear garden with doors and window openings to use as home office; erection of new external steps to replace existing incorporating a link corridor between the main building and the replacement outbuilding, and associated landscaping in the rear garden; installation of new doors to replace the existing door and windows at lower ground floor level to the rear elevation of main dwelling; replacement of existing garage shutter doors with new timber screen entrance gates to side boundary wall and reinstatement of pavement outside of the site following removal of dropped kerb.

Conversion of existing garage into home office use ancillary to the main dwellinghouse; excavation under the footprint of the garage to form a new basement; erection of a single storey rear extension to existing garage; replacement of existing doors with new doors and windows to the front elevation, and installation of a new window and door to replace the existing windows and door to the side elevation of existing garage; alterations to the roof of the garage to include the installation of new rooflight in the eastern and southern elevation roofslopes; installation of new windows to the western elevation of the garage.
