External alterations including refurbishment and extension of the garden pavilion building to the rear of the rear garden to provide space for a home gym and office; associated landscaping works; internal alterations including layout changes to the first floor level of the coach house to provide an additional room for use as a home office; various internal alterations to the main house including the installation of integrated joinery across all floors including to both bedrooms, the main hallway and the bathroom at third floor level, the master bedroom and guest bedroom at second floor level, and the back kitchen at ground floor level; installation of a new boiler to the cloakroom at first floor level.

Erection of a single storey extension with a glazed roof extension above the existing garage in the rear garden; internal reconfiguration to include home office space; installation of new roof lantern to replace the existing lantern at roof level and replacement of existing garage doors with new enlarged garage doors to the eastern elevation of the garage.

Internal alterations to existing sorting office parquet flooring to include over board the existing flooring within the sorting hall and installation of new durable vinyl floor covering floor on top.

Proposed works to 1856 Chief Engineer's Office (Grade II Listed) and 1927 Former Research Laboratory (Grade II Listed); located within Phases C1 and C2 of planning permission (ref: 2018/02100/COMB) dated 8 February 2019. Works would comprise Soft Strip works to allow the constructional detailing and condition of the building fabric that is currently concealed, to be confirmed by the removal of modern insertions and finishes and/or older finishes to allow the underlying fabric to be exposed. The Soft Strip will improve the understanding of the Listed Buildings and as such will inform the design proposals, including their original proportions and layouts, the functionality of the buildings and overcome practical problems such as identifying service routes to minimise the impact on the historic fabric.

Internal alterations and re-configuration of general admin office to include: remove the existing partition walls and re-locate the office space to the western side of the area adjacent to the outside wall and installation of new partition walls, internal doors and window; associated internal alterations.

Partial demolition of the 5 storey rear back additions, erection of a replacement part four-storey (double height ground floor with three floors above) and part single storey rear extension; installation of a new Juliet balcony at first floor level to the rear elevation; internal alterations to include: lowering the floor level of the lower ground floor and upper ground floor to rear part of the building, extend the existing living/dining room to match the new rear extension at upper ground floor level, removal of wall between the proposed study areas at first floor level, increase opening between children's bedroom and lounge, remove modern partition between hallway and bedroom, remove and rebuild partition between en-suite bathroom and bedroom, and creation of new opening between landing and en-suite bathroom at second floor level, creation of new opening between bedroom and office, new opening to master bedroom and re-instatement of wall in master bedroom at third floor level, and formation of a new bathroom at fourth floor level; associated internal and external alterations.
