Demolition of existing buildings and erection of a mixed use development of between seven and ten storeys, plus basement level, to provide flexible Class A1 A2 A3 uses shops, financial and professional services, restaurants and cafes, Class B1a offices, and a 197 room hotel, together with associated works including a landscaped public courtyard and cycle parking facilities. The main changes are a rearrangement of the massing across the site including reduction in 9th floor footprint, amendments to division of floorspace including increase in hotel bedrooms by 18 from 179 to 197, with total hotel floorspace reduced by 138 sq.m. including omission of bar at 9th floor level, and addition of hotel restaurant at basement level; increase in B1a office floorspace by 59sqm to 403sqm, increase in flexible commercial floorspace by 78sqm to 837sqm, amendments to elevations including changes to some window positions, addition of a disabled parking space to the SE corner of the proposed courtyard.
