Construction of a single storey rear extension to provide a ground floor en-suite facility to an existing ground floor bedroom with installation of an external door to replace an existing window.

Remedial Fire Safety works to improve fire safety measures within the common parts and means of escape stairs and lobbies, comprising: Replacement of Flat Entrance Doors with FD30S Certified Doors and frames, upgrade to existing FD30 doors onto stairwells, replacement of a timber frame glazed screen and door to the ground floor entrance lobby. Replacement of existing UPVC windows at the top of the stairwell with units that incorporate an automatic opening vent to improve smoke ventilation to the communal means of escape.

Install new downstairs WC and wash hand basin in rear lobby area (closing off existing side entrance door, but retaining the original door in situ); Replace ground floor windows to front elevation with new timber, three light side hung casement windows (double glazed but with identical width central glazing bars as existing), as per the design/style of the existing first floor windows on the front elevation - only central light to open; Install secondary glazing to all other existing timber casement windows; Install new bathroom suite at first floor, to replace existing bathroom suite, comprising: bath with shower over, WC and wash hand basin and Relocation of Existing Oil Storage Tank and Siting of New Oil Fired Boiler to North-west of Existing Dwelling (at the rear of the driveway), suitably screened by new fencing and planting.

Reinstatement of damaged masonry areas. Secondary glazing to all windows. Reinstatement and repair to part of boundary wall.
