Proposed Road. The proposed development will allow the efficient and safe extraction and uplift of felled timber in accordance with the agreed design plan for Stainburn Forest. It will also reduce the amount of disturbance due to forwarder movement by providing a transfer point closer to the centre of felling operations into the future, as well as keeping the point of uplift by timber lorries remote from the popular public access point to the forest.
