Discharge of Condition 5 (Tree Protection) pursuant to 20/02308/FUL - Change of use from agricultural land to deliver 16.0 hectares of public open space and habitat land with associated landscaping including a circular walkway, hedge planting and boundary works, new access works, cycle and car parking, height restrictor barrier, interpretation point, benches and bins to facilitate a Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace (SANG)

1. Indian Bean - Prune Crown overhanging Holly Cottage boundary by 2 m

T1 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce the lateral growth back to boundary, where the tree has been previously maintained, up to approx. 6m, to the gutter height. The works are requested to maintain the tree at previous points and prevent the tree becoming over bering in a small garden.

1. Ash - Reduce branches by 4 m to boundary line. 2. Sycamore - Reduce branches by 3 m to boundary line.

1. T1 & T2 2 x Oak trees (identified in blue ink on sketch plan) - Prune overhanging side of Oak trees away from property by 4 m. 2. 3 x Oak Trees (identified in pink) - Reduce the remaining Oak trees over hanging the driveway back to suitable, previous growth points to reduce overhanging crown by approximately 4.5M. Reasons for work: (As specified by the client) "Obviously, the canopy of the trees has grown considerably towards our property since the survey was carried out. The trees are now leaning significantly over the boundary in close proximity to the house blocking out light. We have had to refrain from parking our vehicles under the trees because of falling debris. When fully covered with foliage of tree 1 is approximately 1.5m from the property and tree 2 is approximately 1m from the property. The other trees highlighted on the attached plan are those which require reduction due to the overhanging crown." "We have notified our neighbours, Mr and Mrs Sean Farnan, of our desire to apply for work on the oak trees in question and they didnot raise any objections."

1. T1 Fagus sylvatica (Beech) - Crown reduction of 2 m (20%) and lift to 10m above ground level to allow for essential light, shared space and future growth opportunities under canopy. 2. T2 Fagus sylvatica (Beech) - Crown reduction of 2m (20%) shaping and lift to 10m above ground level to allow for essential light, shared space and future growth opportunities under canopy. 3. T3 Castanea sativa (Sweet Chestnut) - Fell. 4. T6 Castanea sativa (Sweet Chestnut) - Remove all major deadwood in crown. 5. T10 Fagus sylvatica (Beech) - Remove all major deadwood in crown. 6. T11 Castanea sativa (Sweet Chestnut) - Remove all major deadwood in Crown and reduce by 20% (3m). 7. T16 Fagus sylvatica (Beech) - Fell. 8. T17 Pinus sylvestris (Scots Pine) - Remove all deadwood. 9. T18 Pinus sylvestris (Scots Pine) - Remove all deadwood & storm damaged branches. 10 T19 Pinus sylvestris (Scots Pine) - Fell. 11 T20 Castanea sativa (Sweet Chestnut) - Reduce crown by 1.5m (20%) and remove all major deadwood back to boundary line. Remove all dysfunctional growth under canopy back to boundary line. In addition to those trees above that were surveyed and recommendations detailed in the attached "516177110132022 Arboricultural Survey dated 16-12-22": 12 T21 Llex aquifolium (Holly): Reduce height by 2m. 13 T22 Llex aquifolium (Holly) - Reduce height by 3m. 14 T23 Fagus sylvatica (Beech) - Remove lowest right sided and over extended lateral branch.

1. 1 x Dead tree (T1) - Fell and grind to 200mm below ground level. 2. 1 x Walnut (T2)- Fell. 3. Line of Beech (G1)- Cut back to boundary line. 4. 1 x Copper Beech (T3)- Cut back from property line by 2m. 5. Line of Cypress (G2) - Cut back to emerging growth. 6. 1 x Dead tree (T4)- Fell. 7. Line of trees (G3) - Reduce by 1.5m in height and shape to balance.

1. Oak tree 1833 - 01/01080/HDC - the north side of the tree will be reduced by 2m back towards the boundary fence but not crossing it. the tree will be shaped as it previously was by SRA tree services, the tree is currently with in 1m of the roof of 22 greenhaven and blocking light. The re shaping of the tree will eliminate the risk of it becoming in contact with the pitch roof of 22 greenhaven.

Rear garden of clients at 138 Aldershot Road - Mrs Bassant. 1). Two Lawson Cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) on left boundary - Fell to approximately ground level 2). Two Lawson Cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) on the right boundary - Fell to approximately ground level 3). one group of mixed conifers - Lawson , Leyland and a small true Fir Abies in top left corner of garden - Fell to approximately ground level

1). Reduce one Hornbeam on left side boundary by approximately 6 metres to a final height of approximately 6 metres and a finished radius of approximately 2 metres to suitable live secondary growth to allow in light for the photovoltaic panels on the roof. 2). Reduce height of one Beech next to summerhouse by approximately 4 metres - to a final height of approximately 10 metres and a finished radius of approximately 2-3 metres - pruning to suitable live secondary growth. 3). Reduce and reshape to previous reduction points retaining smaller growth at reduction points for shape one mature Beech. Reducing by approximately 3 to 4 metres, leaving a finish height of approximately 15 metres and a finished radius of approximately 3 metres. 4). Fell to approximately ground level triple stemmed suppressed leaning Beech on rear boundary. 5). Shorten back branches by approximately 2.5 metres giving a finish radius of approximately 4 metres to rear of house from one mature Beech back to previous reduction points, reducing . back approximately five longer branches. Remove one long limb over summerhouse approximately 20 cm in diameter from the Beech. The tree is in joint ownership between the client and owner of 41 Elvetham Road. The shortening back from the client property is part of the tree owned by the client. The removal of the limb over the summerhouse would require the consent of the owner at the adjacent property at 41 Elvetham Road.
