Prune Sycamore to give approximately 4 metres clearance from house leaving a final radius of approximately 3.5 metres and pruning up to approximately 2 metres above apex of roof pruning to suitable live secondary growth. Lift low branches to approximately 6 metres from ground level over clients garden only by removal of small branches up to approximately 10cm maximum diameter

Extension to existing house. Double storey entrance hall at front with porch in front, bay window added to lounge, 1st floor side extension over the garage and rear annex, single storey rear extension with flat roof. Front elevation and rear extensions to be covered with weatherboarding and render. Internal alterations upstairs and down, adding one bedroom and creating a large kitchen-diner

1). Reduce one Hornbeam on left side boundary by approximately 6 metres to a final height of approximately 6 metres and a finished radius of approximately 2 metres to suitable live secondary growth to allow in light for the photovoltaic panels on the roof. 2). Reduce height of one Beech next to summerhouse by approximately 4 metres - to a final height of approximately 10 metres and a finished radius of approximately 2-3 metres - pruning to suitable live secondary growth. 3). Reduce and reshape to previous reduction points retaining smaller growth at reduction points for shape one mature Beech. Reducing by approximately 3 to 4 metres, leaving a finish height of approximately 15 metres and a finished radius of approximately 3 metres. 4). Fell to approximately ground level triple stemmed suppressed leaning Beech on rear boundary. 5). Shorten back branches by approximately 2.5 metres giving a finish radius of approximately 4 metres to rear of house from one mature Beech back to previous reduction points, reducing . back approximately five longer branches. Remove one long limb over summerhouse approximately 20 cm in diameter from the Beech. The tree is in joint ownership between the client and owner of 41 Elvetham Road. The shortening back from the client property is part of the tree owned by the client. The removal of the limb over the summerhouse would require the consent of the owner at the adjacent property at 41 Elvetham Road.

1) Beech (Rear Garden) - . Lift low canopy from one Beech closest to the rear of house to give approximately 3 metres clearance over the roof - pruning back to suitable live secondary growth. Remove dead wood down to 25mm or 1 metre in length. When in leaf the branches are close to the clients roof and this proposed work which is relatively minor will prevent damage to the roof in the future.

Approval of Condition 6- west wall- pursuant to 21/01078/LBC Repair and stabilisation of the timber frame, including the removal of modern brick and concrete buttresses and piers. Replacement of modern in-fill bricks with handmade clay bricks. Repair of roof timbers where necessary. Replacement of roof tiles. Reinstatement of double doors to the south elevation. Replacement of some brick infill panels to the east elevation with glass panels. Installation of a shower room. Enclosure of the north extension to create a home gym with replacement roof. Installation of a log burner to the main space.

1. (TB2) twin-stemmed (from ground level) beech tree - Removal of one bough from the one stem. largely on my neighbour's side of our boundary fence but with some of the trunk in my garden, and one stem leaning westwards towards my house and thus almost completely overhanging my garden. After taking advice from a tree surgeon I would like to remove one bough from the one stem, reducing the weight over my garden. Please be aware that my house is 10 years old and so far my property has been damaged three times by beech trees blown over by prevailing SW winds. Several years ago a mature tree fell over from the garden of 4 Elvetham Close causing significant damage to the roof of my house. In February 2022 two mature beech trees growing next to each other fell from the garden of Chase House, causing significant damage to my garden, fences and outdoor furniture and more minor damage to the house. I, and my wife in particular, are now concerned about the stability of any trees that are within striking distance of our house, lean our way, and share root balls with other trees. In this respect TB2 is our main concern. We would like to keep such trees pruned and stable. Please also note that my answer the question about tree ownership relates to TB2 only - TSC1 is mine.
