Demolition of existing stables/garage and erection of replacement outbuilding (comprising garage and ancillary accommodation) to serve Elm Tree Farm.

1. (TB2) twin-stemmed (from ground level) beech tree - Removal of one bough from the one stem. largely on my neighbour's side of our boundary fence but with some of the trunk in my garden, and one stem leaning westwards towards my house and thus almost completely overhanging my garden. After taking advice from a tree surgeon I would like to remove one bough from the one stem, reducing the weight over my garden. Please be aware that my house is 10 years old and so far my property has been damaged three times by beech trees blown over by prevailing SW winds. Several years ago a mature tree fell over from the garden of 4 Elvetham Close causing significant damage to the roof of my house. In February 2022 two mature beech trees growing next to each other fell from the garden of Chase House, causing significant damage to my garden, fences and outdoor furniture and more minor damage to the house. I, and my wife in particular, are now concerned about the stability of any trees that are within striking distance of our house, lean our way, and share root balls with other trees. In this respect TB2 is our main concern. We would like to keep such trees pruned and stable. Please also note that my answer the question about tree ownership relates to TB2 only - TSC1 is mine.

1. (TSC1) Sweet Chestnut - Fell In my garden, which is pushing against my fence. This tree is near to a dense group of beech trees, overhangs my garden completely including directly above my summer house. I would like to fell it. Please note that if I am required to plant a replacement it cannot be in exactly the same location as TSC1 is over a main electricity supply to our road and I am not allowed to plant trees within the protected strip. 1. (T1) Douglas Fir - Fell This tree which was recently damaged after been hit by a falling Oak tree which stripped some of the lower canopy & left the tree unbalanced/stable

Approval of conditions 3- construction method statement- 4- bin/ cycle store- 9- root protection areas-10- tree planting details and 11- drainage- pursuant to 18/02644/FUL Change of use from paddock to mini-golf course with associated ground works, drainage and landscaping, conversion of stables to reception, stores and wcs, conversion of manege to parking and formation of new access. Approval of condition 8 - Tree Protection Measures and method statement- pursuant to 16/02377/FUL Demolition of the existing stable building, arena, floodlights and hardstanding, and the erection of 30 residential dwellings, with associated access, landscaping, and car parking arrangements.
