T5. Tag# 4210, Mature twin Stemmed Oak -lift crown by 4 metres and reduce crown by 3 -4 metres. deadwood to be removed during reduction works. Tree has thick low hanging canopy, impeding use of the private garden and likely to make contact with dwelling in 2 -3 years that may result in damage to a roof.

T7 Oak - Reduce back the overhanging branches on west canopy extents by up to 2m, by the removal of tertiary and secondary branches only back to suitable growth points. 8. T8 Oak - Reduce back the overhanging branches on west canopy extents by up to 2m, by the removal of tertiary and secondary branches only back to suitable growth points. We are seeking approval to carry out tree works in a sympathetic way, taking into consideration the best timing to protect tree condition and nesting birds. The works proposed relate to the following trees, whose position is outlined on the attached map.

1. Ash- Crown reduction from 18m height to 16m with a horizontal radial canopy spread of 7.5m from 9m. Clear adjacent dwelling by removing branches overhanging a vertical line offset from the dwelling walls by 3m.

T1 - English Oak - Reduction of lateral branches overhanging 52 Northfield Road by 2m to a suitable growth point, up to full height, where the reduction will be phased into the remaining canopy, the upper canopy will be reduced by up to 1.5m where required only T2 - English Oak - Reduce lateral growth on North Side by 1-1.5m to allow approx. 2m clearance of the applicants dwelling, to full height

T1 - Sweet Chestnut - Reduce lateral branch on the NW corner of the property , by 1-1.5m, to allow 1.5m clearance from the dwelling. We are requesting the works as the tree is encroaching on the property.

G1 - Mixed Species - Row of trees, including Cherry Laurel, Holly, Whitebeam, Hazel and Beech - a. Reduce overhanging lateral growth of Cherry Laurel, Whitebeam, Holly and Hazel, back to boundary, up to full height to create a hedge line. Approx. 2-6m. b. Common Beech on the NE end of the hedge line, crown lift to the height of the apex of the roof, approx. 6m. Tree line stands on the south side of the property, works are requested to allow more light through garden, and reduce encroaching branches back to boundary to form new hedge line which can be maintained by annual hedge cutting. Common Beech trees works are requested to prevent future issues from branches touching the dwelling.

1. Sweet Chestnut (148a) - Selectivley reduce laterals over dwelling by up to 2m. 2. Yew (151c) - Cut back to clear phone cable by 1m. As per the reasons set out in attached document 41592
