1. Silver birch - Crown reduce by 2.5m in height, reshape the top to match in with the new reduced canopy line. Repeat of work previously approved under 17/02838/CA and removal of central trunk which overhangs neighbouring 12 Oakland Terrance, in order to prevent damage to boundary wall and to prevent insect problem reported by neighbour as the tree overhang is close to a bedroom window.

Japanese Maple - Fell and replace with new tree, like-for-like. Tree is encroaching on neighbour's property (#7), the trunk is across both my and neighbour's fence line, damaging fence Plants in neighbour's garden are dying off, as they are not getting sufficient light due to the enormous amount of shading cast. Also concern on roots for such a large tree going under neighbour's pond and also potentially main properties. As per attached plan, the coverage of the tree is the same size as our entire garden and we are unable to grow plants for the vast for the majority of the garden. During summer, no visibility out of main bedroom window, as tree covers entire view. (To clarify, have discussed this with neighbour who is very keen for tree to be removed also.)

T1 - Purple Maple (Front of House) - Fell. Tree is very large and too close to house (High Gables). Tree roots are undermining existing driveway. The size and position restricts light to front windows of house. 2. T3 - Willow (Rear of House) - Fell. This tree is too close to existing weeping willow tree (T4). Trees are very close together so we would like to remove the smaller willow to encourage the growth of T4.

T1 - English Oak - a. Crown Lift to provide 6 metres clearance from ground level, removing secondary growth only. b. Crown reduction of English Oak. 25-30m high. Spread - 25m - Reduce crown height by 1.5 - 2m and reduce lateral spread 2-2.5m to suitable re growth point, to clear conservatory roof. The tree has become large with a wide spread, overhanging the conservatory and house. The tree has had previous branch failure on the West Side. The work is proposed to reduce the tree from over the dwelling, and reduce the mechanical weight to reduce the risk of further branch failure. Crown lift to remove the dropping branches over the patio and garden, to allow more light to the down stairs windows. T2 - Scots Pine - Fell - The tree stands in the Cherry Laurel hedge in the rear garden. The tree is leaning towards the NE. There is concern over the severity of the lean, and the risk the tree poses to Aldershot Road, as it stands within falling of the Aldershot Road. My client has noticed over the years that the lean has become more and more severe, when compare the lamp post next to it. T3 - Sweet Chestnut - Fell - The tree is in poor health, with major deadwood present in the canopy. The tree is over hanging the Aldershot Road. T4 - Sweet Chestnut - Fell - The tree is in poor health, with major deadwood present in the canopy. The tree is over hanging the Aldershot Road. T5 - Scots Pine - Fell - Tree is dead.

20033 - Oak - Rear boundary between Spartica and Handford Hill 20032 - Oak - Rear boundary of Spartica ????? - Oak - Rear garden of Spartica For each of the above 3 trees, we would like to lift the crowns to 8 metres, in line with other trees in the garden. Also, thin the crowns by 30%, allowing more light into the gardens and windows of ourselves and our neighbours in Mistletoe Road and Handford Hill.
