Change of use of land to residential, realignment of fence and alterations to roof and doors of decommissioned sub station to allow its use as a utility/garden/storage building.

1. T1. Tag #4206, Oak - fell 3rd stem and undertake deadwood removal to the remaining 2 healthy stems Tree comprises 2 healthy stems of 400mm+ dia, and a 3rd stem of 200-250mm. The 3rd stem has a very sparse crown showing signs of major die back and evidence of decay at a height of approximately 4 metres within the main stem. 2. T2. Tag #4207, Mature twin stemmed Oak - Undertake deadwood removal only. 3. T3. Tag#4208 Mature Scots Pine - Undertake deadwood removal only 4. T4. Tag# 4209 Semi mature Oak - Fell approximately 300mm dia, tree is being shaded by more mature trees resulting in a thin crown and noticeable lean, root system is causing damage to fence posts. tree has little amenity or habitat value; fell tree. 5. T5. Tag# 4210, Mature twin Stemmed Oak -lift crown by 4 metres and reduce crown by 3 -4 metres. deadwood to be removed during reduction works. Tree has thick low hanging canopy, impeding use of the private garden and likely to make contact with dwelling in 2 -3 years that may result in damage to a roof.

Sycamore - Fell When standing looking face on to Ramsdale House on the left hand side and on the other side of the fence line there are a collection of trees, one oak tree is particularly large and over hanging our roof dropping debris and posing a risk to the roof and the solar panels we are about to instal in the event that a branch should fall - we took advice from the tree surgeon (Ed Chapman) who suggested reducing the tree by 25%, there is another very tall sycamore tree next to this oak tree which also needs a 25% reduction. When standing looking face on to Ramsdale house on the left hand side of the drive area (within our boundary) there is a sycamore tree which the tree surgeon advised is diseased and dying and therefor poses a risk to the house and the residents. He suggested chopping it down before the risk increases.

1. (TSC1) Sweet Chestnut - Fell In my garden, which is pushing against my fence. This tree is near to a dense group of beech trees, overhangs my garden completely including directly above my summer house. I would like to fell it. Please note that if I am required to plant a replacement it cannot be in exactly the same location as TSC1 is over a main electricity supply to our road and I am not allowed to plant trees within the protected strip. Please be aware that my house is 10 years old and so far my property has been damaged three times by beech trees blown over by prevailing SW winds. Several years ago a mature tree fell over from the garden of 4 Elvetham Close causing significant damage to the roof of my house. In February 2022 two mature beech trees growing next to each other fell from the garden of Chase House, causing significant damage to my garden, fences and outdoor furniture and more minor damage to the house. I, and my wife in particular, are now concerned about the stability of any trees that are within striking distance of our house, lean our way, and share root balls with other trees. In this respect TB2 is our main concern. We would like to keep such trees pruned and stable. Please also note that my answer the question about tree ownership relates to TB2 only - TSC1 is mine.

Beech T1 - remove as severe lean over over fence, cables and shared track plus large wound on main stem allowing water ingress. Scots Pine T2 - remove as top of crown completely dead and lower crown dying Scots Pine T3 - remove to reduce excessive shading Scots Pine T4 - remove to reduce excessive shading Scots Pine T5 - remove to reduce excessive shading Scots Pine T6 - remove as severe lean, root heave and fruiting bodies on footplate. Beech T7 - Proposal to remove one of the co-dominant stems which is leaning over the house dropping leaf matter etc on the roof.

T1+T2 - Pine - lift by 1m to gain 1m clearance from shed roof G1 - Lift by 1.5 - 2m to gain 3.5m Clearnance from driveway T3 - Tree has fallen and is leaning on fence. Tree is essentially being removed but if they need a measurement then 3m T4 Conifer - 2m lift to gain 4m Clarence from road T5 - Remove stake and tie from tree before it causes damage to stem, next to parking space 25 T6 - Rowan - 1m prune away from building to gain 1m Clarence G2 - Oak -Deadwood + 1-3m reduction of selective limbs to gain at least a 1m Clarence from building G2 - Holly/mixed hedging - holly hedge - Prune back by 1m and reduce in height by 2m T7 - Oak - Deadwood T8 - Oak - Deadwood G3 - Prune back branches that are growing into the grass area of garden. T10 - Norway maple - reduce by 2m

1 - Remove epicormic regrowth from trunk of one English Oak (Quercus robor) up to canopy break at 7m to clear garage. This work is historic. 2 - Prune back neighbours Hazel, Laurel, Sweet Chestnut and Douglas fir to the boundary fence and up to 8m and clear roof and conservatory by 3m. Lift low branches to 4m from ground level from one small Copper Beech and small multi stemmed Holm Oaks near clients hot tub. 3a - Fell to 100mm above ground level one Laurel leaning into garden at base of the mature Copper Beech (Fagus sylvatica 'Atropurpurea). 3b - Carefully remove as much root bole as possible, without causing damage to surrounding objects tree roots etc, by stump grinding to a depth of 150mm below ground level, no lateral roots will be removed unless specified. 4a - Fell to 100mm above ground level one Mountain Ash (Sorbus aucuparia) in front of children's play equipment to allow the area to be redeveloped. 4b - Remove as much root bole as possible, without causing damage to surrounding objects by stump grinding to a depth of 200mm below ground level, no lateral roots will be removed unless specified, all grindings to be left on site. Group A - Conifers - Crown lift on the South side of trees to establish a 1m clearance of the apex of the shed roof. Tree 1 - Conifer - Remove broken stem leaning on patio fencing. Tree 2 - Holly - Reduce in height to 2m and shape sides to balance. Tree 3 - Hazel - Coppice Tree 4 - Hazel - Remove lateral stems growing over stream.
