1. T1 & T2 2 x Oak trees (identified in blue ink on sketch plan) - Prune overhanging side of Oak trees away from property by 4 m. 2. 3 x Oak Trees (identified in pink) - Reduce the remaining Oak trees over hanging the driveway back to suitable, previous growth points to reduce overhanging crown by approximately 4.5M. Reasons for work: (As specified by the client) "Obviously, the canopy of the trees has grown considerably towards our property since the survey was carried out. The trees are now leaning significantly over the boundary in close proximity to the house blocking out light. We have had to refrain from parking our vehicles under the trees because of falling debris. When fully covered with foliage of tree 1 is approximately 1.5m from the property and tree 2 is approximately 1m from the property. The other trees highlighted on the attached plan are those which require reduction due to the overhanging crown." "We have notified our neighbours, Mr and Mrs Sean Farnan, of our desire to apply for work on the oak trees in question and they didnot raise any objections."

1. Oak - remove the branches that are overhanging our roof and garden. We have recently had an infestation of squirrels nesting in our roof which has caused damage to the external roof tiles and internal roof The squirrels accessed the roof via these overhanging branches which we would like to have removed. This damage is not covered by house insurance so this preventative action will ensure we do not encounter this type of damage again.

1). 6 x English Oak - Lift low canopy from 6 English Oaks to approximately 8 metres, overhanging lawn. 2) Oak tree on the right side of lawn -, remove 2 limbs, approximately 20 cm in diameter, growing between the Silver Birch in the lawn and a large Scots Pine. The trees are over shadowing the clients garden and lawn. This works will allow more light into the clients garden The lifting height will be approximately level with the top of the conservatory on top of the house. 3). Silver Birch - Fell to approximately ground level one 1 dead Silver Birch near corner of football pitch.

1. T1 - Oak - Crown thin by 15%- 20% and deadwood. Dense crown leaning over neighbours property - works to reduce wind resistance and help with shading to gardens/house.

1. 2 x Scot Pine (SP1 & SP2) - Fell and replant further away from the house. During the recent Storm Eunice, one of the trunks of an otherwise healthy Scots Pine tree on our property adjacent to Nightjar Close snapped approximately halfway up. The top part of the tree (approximately 15 ??? 20 feet) fell towards the house. It fell from the Southwest direction towards the Northeast. We feel that two of our Scots Pine trees are potentially dangerous in high winds. These are labelled SP1 and SP2 on the attached sketch plan. Both are in close enough proximity to the house to cause significant damage should they also fall over or snap as the other Scots Pines did, particularly if they fell from a Southwest direction, as the other three trees have. We would like to remove them from their current position and replant further away from the house.

1). Remove 6 lowest branches towards road and over garden from one Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) and shorten back one long limb over house by approximately 3 metres to suitable live secondary growth. Lifting low canopy to approximately 1.5 to 2 metres above the apex of roof or from ground level approximately 12 metres as the tree is having an over bearing effect on the property

Silver Birch (T1) - Fell because tree is showing advanced stages of decline with large amount of deadwood throughout the crown. Excessive shading to front of house and neighbouring property. Replant with one standard Cherry blossom tree. Silver Birch (T2) - Fell because condition is poor. There are several structural defects on the trees stem which collectively render this tree unsafe to retain. Tree looks unsafe and could cause damage to house and children's play area.
