T1 & T2 - Ash - re-pollard by 4 metres - due to T1 overhanging neighbours conservatory and T2 overhanging neighbours property and driveway. Ive recommended the trees be re-pollarded on a 5-10 year cycle. T3 - Ash - Fell - This tree is starting to interfere with Conifer tree next to it and is out growing the garden. 14 Middletons Road also has a history of subsidence on the western wall and due to our extreme weather conditions, I feel that everything would benefit by removing this tree.

6 Flint Close Brampton Huntingdon PE28 4SY

T1 Ash: Remove 9 no over extended lateral limbs overhanging conservatory. This is a mature Ash tree, evidence of Inonotus hispidus on three of the branches over conservatory. The branches have extended heavily over the property causing excessive shading and branch drop onto roof. Removal of these limbs will make significant difference to light into the property, the works will not impact on the amenity value of this tree.

Horse Chestnut (T2). Proposal is for felling of the tree. Replant with one tree of more limited growth\easier maintenance, from the maple family, in similar position and likely maintain at half the height, that would provide higher amenity level to the community. Reasons for proposal- Roots causing damage to my close-by patio, through cracks to patio surround and lifting of slabs. Large roots are also exposed on the surface and higher than ground level. I have a close-by conservatory and this could be affected by subsidence if work is not carried out, - Branches spread out into the path of traffic on the Wood End road, and hit passing vehicle, branches spread into electricity and telephone lines of my property, year on year damage to our fence which borders the property, and so the fence has had to be cut to allow the branches to spread through onto the road. - Low amenity value, especially as we have other larger trees sitting close by on the same fence line. But partly due to the type and look of the tree, considering it has leaf decay throughout the summer months from the prevalence of the insects, so it looks unsightly even when in 'bloom'. It does not provide value to the community. - Excessive shading of garden, and its soaking up of moisture from the soil, results in an inability to grow lawn and garden borders in that area.
