ID 1 - Cornus - remove to ground level ID2 - Ash - Remove to ground level ID 3 - Corkscrew Williow - remove diseased, damaged, dying and crossed branches, 5-30cm diameter cuts across entire canopy ID 4 - Silver Birch - Reduce back by 2 . Remove 10% of inner growth to thin crown. ID 5 - Sorbus - Front of House - Remove to ground level

T1 Elm- remove epicormic growth from lower trunk. T2 Oak- reduce side over garden by 2m. T3 Sycamore at side of driveway- remove lowest 2x branches over driveway, remove lowest small branch over garage, reduce remaining tree by 2 - 2.5m. T4 Beech overhanging front garden- crown lift to 3m prune to clear house by 1.5 - 2m.

5. Yew and adjacent Holly on right hand side wall near gate - prune by 1 Meter and crown lift by 1 Meter 6. Bay on left hand side of house wall (towards rear) Reduce height by 2.5m and trim front retaining foliage

2x Poplars. Reduce by 8 Meters and 4 Meters to protect amenity value, protect the longer-term viability of the trees but importantly to avoid further damage to our home (damage already caused to the roof of lodge).

T4 - Yew Tree - North West limb to be removed and crown raise away from roof of house. Remove ivy covered dead limb from ajacent tree.

Elm in back garden: Lowest branch growing towards house: reduce laterally away from house and neighbouring garden by 4m. Lower canopy over lawn: Reduce sections over neighbouring garden by 3m (close to boundary) thin ends of remaining branches by 20%, up to approx 6m from ground level. 2x previously cut branches in lower crown over lawn: remove back to main stem.

T3. Beech hedge (approx 20 trees in all) - Prune to clear house by 2.5m - 3m (This applies to the first two trees only) T4. Lombardy Poplar (group of 3) - remove major dead wood. T7. 2no Wild Plum - prune to clear telephone line by 0.75m T11. Lime - Crown lift 4m over road and drive. Remove suckers at base and epicormic growth up to 4m. Remove major dead wood.

T1 Silver Birch - Reduce height by upto 3 metres and sides by 2 metres to previous points. Clear cables by 1 metre, crown lift to 3 metres and remove ivy. Reason for work - Getting close to house, interfering with utilities and causing excessive shade onto properties.

I am seeking permission to conduct tree work on two roadside chestnut trees. The tree to the east has previously been pollarded and I would like to pollard is back to approx 8 feet. The tree to the west is a large mature tree that has several heavy boughs. One bough overhangs the driveway of the house, also presenting a potential danger to pedestrians and road users. Another hangs towards the house, close to service cables. I would like to preserve the tree, while reducing its encroachment on the house and the potential danger it presents, especially as it gets older. My proposal is to reduce the volume of the tree by approximately half in two equal stages of work - one now and one in two years time. This would leave the main trunk intact, while taking the body of the tree down to 25ft in height.
