To lift the crown of the fir tree that is currently overhanging the end of the garden by about 30% of 8 Priory Cottages. This would require pruning only the lower branches on one side that overhang the garden and removal of 1 of the 5 stumps that form the trunk of the fir tree. Only the minimum work necessary to the fir tree to be carried out. The pruning would leave the fir tree looking balanced & improve its shape.

1st tree: Proposed crown reduction from approx. 4 meters to 3.5 meters. The proposed trimming will result in a more symmetric crown. 2nd tree: Proposed crown reduction from approx. 4.5 meters to 4 meters. Some of the branches are touching the neighbour's house. 3rd tree: Proposed crown reduction from approx. 4.5 meters to 4 meters. The proposed trimming will result in a more symmetric crown. 4th tree: Proposed crown reduction from approx. 5 meters to 4 meters. 5th tree: Approx. 15% crown thinning 6th tree: Proposed crown reduction from approx. 5 meters to 4 meters.

Fell and remove and treat the stumps of two cherry trees

T1. Corkscrew willow in front drive way. This tree has been pollarded in the past, and would benefit from cyclical repollard maintenance. T2. Holly in rear garden. Formative and remedial pruning required to reduce its size by approx 30 - 50cm all over, keeping its symmetrical and pleasing aesthetic. T3 & T4. 2 x Silver Birch in rear garden. Crown reduction work, reducing lateral growth by 1-1.5m and vertical growth by 2-2.5 metres.

T1 self-set Sycamore and T2 Apple tree, to be felled and removed as part of 23/01890/F, removal of trees to facilitate the planting of 18 standard fruit trees on the whole site

T1 Cherry plum, remove tree. Small unliked by owners who wish to redesign garden T2 Silver birch, reduce crown height to about 6m. Small to medium tree that is getting too big for the garden

T1 - Holm Oak Site meeting taken place in October 2023 with Brian Ogden. Agreed to raise crown to approx 3 meters in height, and prune away from all outbuildings by approx 1.5 meters. Reshape as feasible.

T1 Walnut tree - Remove to ground level due to its close proximity to the house causing problems with the recently fitted solar panels. The tree also causes the house to be dark and damp due as its close proximity and the shade it causes. The properties owners would like to plant another tree in a more suitable position- further away from the house and at the back to stop these same problems arising in the future

T1 - Yew tree to be lifted to 5.2m and cut back to the boundary line.

1. Reduce Willow tree down to 5ft inside fence line (T1). 2. Cut Leylandii tree down to just above ground level (T2). 3. Reduce Holly tree down to 6ft (T3). 4. Reduce Apple tree down to approx 9ft. Top only, leaving the sides (T4)
