As part of the boundary between our house, Mallard Cottage, and Hill House a Leylandii hedge was planted many years ago. This has now grown to between 25ft - 30ft high as the former owners of our property did not attend to it. We wish to reduce the height of the Leylandii to approx. 15ft to allow its continued maintenance to be achieved. The trees themselves do not have a TPO on them, but we are part of a conservation area.

T1-Beech Tree - reduce height from 17m to 13m. Reduce left side overhanging wires from 8m to 4m. Reduce remaining side from 7m to 4 metres. Crown lift low branches to 5 metres. To reduce the weight in the upper crown due to the close proximity to the house and re- shape after having power line clearance work carried out. There is a cavity at approximately 2 metres from the ground.

All trees situated to right of Rudham House, on the drive way and alongside Broomsthorpe road. TREE A - Group of 4 large Beech trees. Tidy canopy and reduce by 25%, one is close to the road and unsafe. TREE B - 1 large oak. Reduce over extended lateral limb growing towards lawn area to suitable growth point. Also make safe main trunk with large break and woodpecker hole in. TREE C - Remove large overgrown conifer hedge line adjacent to Oak. TREE D - 1 large Ash. Reduce width and height by 25% to maintain safety of tree structure.

T1 Holly Tree (est 6M in height). To remove to ground level. Tree will be replaced with another species in a different area of the garden. T2 Large yew tree (est 9M in height). To reduce the two lowest limbs growing towards the house by 3M. Limbs are heavy laden and droop low. To also reduce the branches hanging over the shed by 2M.

Fell one Oriental Plane, fell two trees next to the green house, reduce one tree next to summer house/pergola by 2.5 metres.

G1 - yew. Fell - Entire group are poor specimens, except for yew nearest to the main house which is the only tree with substantial growth. This will be retained. Note: The group is only the central copse, and NOT the perimeter yews to right of driveway entrance.

Rear Garden 2x Cyprus Conifers - Fell Front of House 1x Sycamore, 1x Holly, 1x Beech 1x Hedge - To be trimmed to approx 12ft

T1 Willow - Reduction due to excessive overhanging and shading of neighbours house, garden and green house. Reduce height by 4m. remove lower branches that are currently hanging directly over neighbours green house, trim back by 2m on neighbours side and shape tree to ensure it remains balanced and proportionate. T2 Sycamore - Reduction to branches that are currently growing across power and telephone lines on the northerly side. A reduction of the overall height by up to 4m to reduce height and weight and to lessen the likelihood of failure in the future.

T1 - Walnut. Crown thin 20%. Reduce away from house and out buildings by 1.5 - 2 metres to suitable pruning points, rebalance crown and crown lift to 2.5 -3 metres above ground. T2 - Walnut. Crown thin 15%. Reduce away from next door building by 1.5 - 2 metres to suitable pruning points, rebalance crown and crown lift to 2.5 - 3 metres above ground level.

T1 Walnut-Crown thin 20% Reduce away from the house and out building by 1.5-2 Meters to suitable pruning points,rebalance crown and lift to 2.5-3 Meters above Groud. T2 Walnut-Crown thin 15% Reduce away from next door building by 1.5-2 meters to suitable pruning points,rebalance crown and crown lift to 2.5-3 Meters above ground level. Within Conservation area
