Yew trees (T1, T2 and T3): crown reductions of approximately 25%, taking up to three meters off of the overall height of the trees and thinning the canopy. The three trees are located in very close proximity to the house and a retaining brick wall which separates the garden from the busy A272 road. The trees canopy currently overhang the pavement running along the A272. The proposed works are for a number of reasons; Reducing the height and spread of the trees, reducing the risk of falling branches and debris on to the pavement and road. To limit the spread of roots that can potentially cause damage to the building and retaining wall To encourage healthy regenerative growth in the trees canopy by thinning and removing deadwood.

Ash tree (North East corner by road). Reduce crown by 30%, Ash tree (North East corner by pond) to fell, (Ash die-back making dangerous) and 8 Ash trees (on Northen boundary adjacent to house) to fell (Ash die-back making dangerous)

3 Ash trees (T1,T2, T3) need crown thinning up to 30%; crown lifting up to 6ft above ground level as low branches obstruct the pavement in Telscombe Road; removal of dead branches. Work needs to be done to prevent excessive shading which prevent sufficient light penetration to plants and grass, light on he patio and in the house. Excess shading affects adjacent proerties at 2 Wendale Drive and Telscombe Close

I am requesting the removal of 3 trees in my front garden. There are numerous reasons for removal as follows: T1 is causing significant damage to the walls that run behind it and to one side. This wall is supporting the driveway and garage and has several cracks going through the walls and the garage that I believe are caused by the tree. It will need underpinning due to the damage. It is dangerously close to the power lines that run along the front of the house and down the road and has caused a number of power cuts due to this. When it is windy, (very frequently!) especially high winds it is scary and the way they move or appear to be falling frightens my children and if it were to fall it would be directly on the house, garage, cars, power lines. Whichever way it fell it would cause devastating damage and possibly injury. T2: the ash tree is in the front wall to the other side of the garden and has totally cracked the walls it sits in and they are about to fall. I could not fix them without removing the tree. The tree is overtaking the area it already had and sits directly on the power line. It is directly at the front of the house and blocks a lot of light from our windows. It moves vigorously when there are storms and high winds which is a weekly occurrence in Peacehaven causing unnecessary stress on myself and my family/ children as their bedroom windows are directly there. It is causing a problem due to the roots being so close to the house and causing underpinning problems potentially. T3: the Conifer is also causing significant damage to the walls and therefore garage and underpinning. We have had tree experts who have agreed with this and therefore we are currently looking at replanting some new, smaller trees once these are removed. It's a difficult decision to have these taken down but I feel I have a lot of trees in my rear garden and these offer a lot to the environment so losing 3 and replanting would be the best option.

T1 - Sycamore - multi stemmed - remove stem towards house, remove two stems towards road - to clear house and road and thin crown by up to 15% - to make more upright in habit. T2 - Silver Maple - crown lift to 3 metres and thin crown by up to 15% - to clear public footpath. T3 - Thorn - crown lift to 2.5 metres over road - to clear public footpath and road. T4 - Sycamore - fell to ground level - heavily leaning over road, stunted growth points. Will leave access for Silver Maple (T2) to develop.

Holm Oak Tree - back side of the house - Remove tree completely, as causing excessive shading to neighbour and is causing problems to side wall, worried about future problems to house foundations as positioned very close to house Cherry Tree - middle side of house - Remove tree completely, as causing excessive shading to neighbour and is causing problems to side wall, worried about future problems to house foundations as positioned very close to house Cherry Tree - front of house - Remove tree completely, causing obstruction to solar panel and worried about future problems to house foundations as positioned very close to house The trees at the side and front will be left for wild flowers to grow and grassed lawn.

Ash (T17) of the order - Fell due to deep internal rot below main fork of the tree causing structural weakness. Tree Located 6 metres from property, growing over garden towards house. Overhangs popular walking and horse riding route. To be replaced with 1 Birch Tree in same location.

Sycamores as shown in Sketch plan 1. We have two lovely large sycamores at the end of our garden that have now grown very big and are not only fighting for space themselves but also crowding out other trees around them. In addition, the trees overgrow the road through our village and our opposite neighbor is also very worried that during high winds the height and size of the trees may mean that they could blow down and damage her house. There is also an overhead high voltage cable that is now overgrown by the branches of both trees overhanging Church Road. We are very keen to protect the health of these trees and the trees around them but also to ensure they are safe and manageable. To enable this, we would like to reduce the overall height and width of the two sycamores by around 50%. This work will be carried out by Mr. Fred Synes, a professional tree surgeon.

Oak - We prepose to reduce the canopy of the trey approx 2m back to suitable growth points. The tree causes lack of natural light and sunshine into a small garden. The drip line of the tree is now beginning to approach the house. The Oak in the neighbours gardenias removed entirely as it also blocked substantial light to this property. It was also covered by TPO

To reduce 2 x groups of Sycamore by 2 - 3m in height and 1m in width. To reduce contorted Sycamore by 3 - 4m in height. To reduce single Sycamore adjacent to contorted on by 2 - 3m in height. Excessively tall trees, close to house, causing light reduction.
