Telscombe Town Council obtained an arboricultural consultaion from Aspen Tree Care, who in there email, recommended that all vegitation and overhanging limbs from trees are cut back by at least 2 metres from the property next to this location. They also recommended that the work is completed on an annual basis to prevent vegitation establishing to the same extent again. They finally suggested that in order to facilitate this work, a section of chestnut palling fencing will need to be removed and replaced. We therefore propose the following advice from an Arborist, that all overhanging limbs from trees are cut back by 2 metres, to the locations as highlighted on the attached map

T1 & T2 - to be removed as the neighbours house 23 Downs Walk is completely surrounded on all sides and gets not sunlight at all. The tree, T1, is pushing the fence, this cannot be rectified without moving the property boundary.

Grey Poplar - T1 - Reduce crown by 20% to allow more light into garden and prevent lower branches from falling onto boundary fencing. Tree is exposed to adverse weather conditions as it is on flat ground in field with no other trees for protection. My client has advised that branches have previously snapped off the tree into garden.

2 x Oaks overhanging northern side of the rear garden, cut back by 5m (cutting back to boundary fence line). 1 x Willow, cut back overhanging branch by approximately 2m, back to the boundary fence line. 1 x Hazel coppice in the rear garden re-coppice. Grind out small stumps in garden. 1 x Elder, fell and grind. Reason for the work to be done is that the trees are all encroaching the garden.
