Reduce the height of the Leyandii in the roadside hedge to a minimum of 25ft. There are10 taller stems, these are being reduced to match in with the height of the adjacent smaller leylandii. The reason for the work is to reduce the excessive shading on the house and also due to fear of them falling onto the house or the road.

Sycamores as shown in Sketch plan 1. We have two lovely large sycamores at the end of our garden that have now grown very big and are not only fighting for space themselves but also crowding out other trees around them. In addition, the trees overgrow the road through our village and our opposite neighbor is also very worried that during high winds the height and size of the trees may mean that they could blow down and damage her house. There is also an overhead high voltage cable that is now overgrown by the branches of both trees overhanging Church Road. We are very keen to protect the health of these trees and the trees around them but also to ensure they are safe and manageable. To enable this, we would like to reduce the overall height and width of the two sycamores by around 50%. This work will be carried out by Mr. Fred Synes, a professional tree surgeon.
