Tree Preservation Order Application : T1 - Sycamore. Fell and remove tree. The tree exhibits poor growth due to overcrowding, growing in close proximity with the neighbouring trees which have now been removed due to causing subsidence next door. T2 - Sycamore. Fell and remove tree. The second tree is causing significant issues to the outbuilding and has cracked the roof structure. The client is also concerned about subsidence issues having witnessed first hand the effect these trees can have on the house next door. Therefore the client wishes to mitigate this possibility and ensure the safety of their property and surrounding structures. Both trees are to be replaced by native species within one year.

TPO application to trim small branches/foliage at bottom of one Thuja to 2m to allow head room; Trim small branches/foliage at bottom of one Thuja to 2m to allow head room, trim south side of tree to 1m away from house, trim small branches/foliage at bottom of tree to allow 30 cm clearance above shed roof.

Conservation Area notification: T1 - To sectionally fell to ground level Sycamore tree on drive with hole in the base going into root plate T2 - To cut 4 - 6 Pine tree lateral branches back by 3-4 metres overhanging roof on front boundary near house. T3 - To crown lift Sycamore tree under Pine tree to a height of 4-5 metres on front boundary near house for vehicular access and access of lane for high sided vehicles. T4 - To crown lift Nordman Fir tree to a height of 4 metres on front boundary for vehicular access and access of lane for high sided vehicles. G1 - To crown lift group of 4 Sycamore trees at entrance to driveway to 4 metres in height for vehicular access and access of lane for high sided vehicles.

Tree Preservation Order application: T1 - Beech - Crown lift to 5m, T2 - Beech - Remove and replace tree, T3 - Beech - Crown lift to 5m and remove small deadwood. Also clear house roof by 2 metres where 5 metre crown lift has not done so.

Conservation Area Notification for 1 x (T1) Beech tree - Pruning of tree up to 3m as required to shape it, 1 x (T2) Ginko tree - Pruning of tree up to 3m as required to shape it, pollarding branches grown over house to avoid roof and drain damage, 1 x (T3) Lime tree - Felling of dangerous tree, (T4) Holly Trees- Pruning and thinning of trees that are overgrown across property and across substation. Some felling required of smaller trees to declutter and 1 x (T5) Horse chestnut tree - Pruning of up to 3.0m across road and paths as required to shape the tree.

Conservation Area Notification for 3 x (T1, T2, T3) Lime Trees - Crown reduction to previous pollard points. 1 x (T4) Oak Tree: Removal of branches currently resting on house roof and walls as indicated on annotated photograph.

TPO application to prune back the branches of one Sycamore that are encroaching towards the house (13 The Vallance), by 3 metres to leave 4m distance; reduce branch damaging the roof of the shed from 17m to 14m.

TPO Application - Yew (T12) - Proposal to trim back yew tree to red line as shown on the attached image. The proposal would re-shape the yew tree, intended to improve its visual appearance, reducing the periphery of the tree thereby avoiding thicker/established branches, and to trim back base growth to trunk. Reason: Branches almost reach house, cannot walk under tree. Holm Oak - (T11) - As a holm oak, the tree retains a full canopy of leaves throughout the year. Permission is sought to reduce the crown by 25% in general and thin. And to remove parts of the boughs to the line shown on the attached image to create more distance between the tree and the property/neighbour's property/adjacent yew tree. Certain boughs of the tree are very close to the roof of the house and its chimney, the neighbour's garden and the adjacent yew tree. Reason: The tree and its canopy is considerable and appears oversized compared to other trees in the area. Its canopy catches the wind and it is feared that with no other wind break and open orchard/fields, the large canopy puts the tree at increased risk from predominantly south west winds facing towards the rear of the house. sufficiently to reduce the risk of the tree being blown down on to the house or road in strong wind having regard to the fact that the tree retains its leaves throughout the windiest times of the year.

Conservation Area Notification for 1 x Yew (No. 2) - Reduce by 1/3 all over to stop branches encroaching on to house roof/gutters and garden. Reducing pollen output as shown on photo.

Tree Preservation Order application: One Oak Tree - Tree has large trunk that splits into three, wish to remove one trunk nearest house (shown on plan), leaving the remaining two straight trunks. Tree is estimated at 16m high, wish to reduce this to 13m. Tree span is unbalanced at present with 6m span on left and 8m span on right side, wish to even up the span by reducing it by 2m on left side and 4m on right side due to the safety aspect and squirrels getting on ours and neighbours roof.
