Tree Preservation Order Application : T1 - Sycamore. Fell and remove tree. The tree exhibits poor growth due to overcrowding, growing in close proximity with the neighbouring trees which have now been removed due to causing subsidence next door. T2 - Sycamore. Fell and remove tree. The second tree is causing significant issues to the outbuilding and has cracked the roof structure. The client is also concerned about subsidence issues having witnessed first hand the effect these trees can have on the house next door. Therefore the client wishes to mitigate this possibility and ensure the safety of their property and surrounding structures. Both trees are to be replaced by native species within one year.

TPO application to trim small branches/foliage at bottom of one Thuja to 2m to allow head room; Trim small branches/foliage at bottom of one Thuja to 2m to allow head room, trim south side of tree to 1m away from house, trim small branches/foliage at bottom of tree to allow 30 cm clearance above shed roof.

TPO application to crown raise one Oak tree to give a clearance of up to 2.4m above ground level and remove one branch which is damaging the roof of the bus shelter.

Tree Preservation Order application: T1 - Beech - Crown lift to 5m, T2 - Beech - Remove and replace tree, T3 - Beech - Crown lift to 5m and remove small deadwood. Also clear house roof by 2 metres where 5 metre crown lift has not done so.

TPO application to prune back the branches of one Sycamore that are encroaching towards the house (13 The Vallance), by 3 metres to leave 4m distance; reduce branch damaging the roof of the shed from 17m to 14m.

TPO Application - Ash (T1) - Crown lift to give a maximum ground clearance of 5m. Crown lift to include the removal (back to source) of the overextended lower branch to the south. Cut back branches/crown to give a maximum clearance of 4m from the roof and gable walls of the property. Crown thin by 15% Reason: To avoid potential damage to property and possible injury to members of the public/vehicles due to the tree overhanging a Public Footpath.

Tree Preservation Order application: 1 x Holly Tree - Picture two shows that the tree we estimate when trimmed will be approximately 5 metres in height and 4 metres in width at its maximum point whilst picture 3 shows that we are looking to trim the depth of the tree by approximately 1.5metres to the edge of the building to prevent it overhanging the roof.

TPO Application - Yew (T12) - Proposal to trim back yew tree to red line as shown on the attached image. The proposal would re-shape the yew tree, intended to improve its visual appearance, reducing the periphery of the tree thereby avoiding thicker/established branches, and to trim back base growth to trunk. Reason: Branches almost reach house, cannot walk under tree. Holm Oak - (T11) - As a holm oak, the tree retains a full canopy of leaves throughout the year. Permission is sought to reduce the crown by 25% in general and thin. And to remove parts of the boughs to the line shown on the attached image to create more distance between the tree and the property/neighbour's property/adjacent yew tree. Certain boughs of the tree are very close to the roof of the house and its chimney, the neighbour's garden and the adjacent yew tree. Reason: The tree and its canopy is considerable and appears oversized compared to other trees in the area. Its canopy catches the wind and it is feared that with no other wind break and open orchard/fields, the large canopy puts the tree at increased risk from predominantly south west winds facing towards the rear of the house. sufficiently to reduce the risk of the tree being blown down on to the house or road in strong wind having regard to the fact that the tree retains its leaves throughout the windiest times of the year.

TPO Application - G1 (Yew) Prune to give at least 0.3m horizontal clearance and 1m vertical clearance from Tunstall Court. Reason: Good maintenance practice. T2 (Turkey Oak) Prune to give 1m clearance from lamp-post and transmission pole in the public way, increase headroom over carriage way to height of 5m. Reason: Good maintenance practice. G3 (Sycamore) Sever Ivy near ground level, remove branch arched over the public footway. Reason: Good maintenance practice. G4 (Corsican Pine) Fell the middle tree of three leaning into the site - to give neighbouring trees more room to grow. T5 (Sycamore) Sever Ivy near ground level, removing low growth to permit good access to the base of the tree - Reason: to allow satisfactory tree inspection in future. T6 (Turkey Oak) Sever Ivy close to ground level, Remove the two lowermost limbs on the southeast side, arising at height 8m (diameter 25cm) and arising at height 10m (diameter 18cm), descending over the middle of the garden of No.8 Bradley Drive. Reduce the height of the tree by 7m (crown retrenchment). Reasons: (i) Good maintenance practice. (ii) For the gratification of the neighbour at No.8 Bradley Drive. (iii) Good maintenance practice in view of the poor condition of the top of the tree. T7 (Turkey Oak) Prune to: (i) Increase headroom to 4m over the hard surface near the southeast corner of Tunstall Court. (ii) Give 2m horizontal clearance from Tunstall Court. Reason: Good maintenance practice. T8 (Magnolia Grandiflora) Prune to give: (i) 0.5m horizontal clearance from wall. (ii) 1m clearance from roof. Reason: Good maintenance practice.

TPO Application 4x Sycamore Trees - Cut back branches 2-3m from property. Reason: Branches causing damage to roof and guttering, roots lifting path and causing excessive shading.
