Beech (Fagus sylvatica), 11286 - (ML) Fell and remove; (LM) beech adj. driveway & patio; lifting paved area - tarmac, cobbles & slabs (trip hazard). Oak (robur/petraea) (Quercus spp), Tag no. 19313- Remove hangers in crown, tidy associated damage. Remove deadwood over driveway. Sever and remove ivy from base to 1.5m. Oak with cavity at base (field side), sounding hammer used, stem sounds ok.

Leyland cypress (Cupressocyparis leylandii), Tag no. 19339 - Fell and remove dead cypress adjacent boundary hedge & road.

Felling of three small trees (T2, T3, T4) to the front aspect of house and removal of one dead tree trunk (T5). These trees are causing damage to external wall (fronting Victoria Road). The wall has become unstable and is a safety risk. The trees offer very low amenity value and we will replant with small shrubs and bushes in the future. Pruning of branches to tree (T1) which are growing through and causing damage to the boundary garden wall between 1 and 2 Gladstone Villas. Felling of one tree (T6) located on edge of driveway (Occupation Road) next to driveway gate post. Felling required due to damage to retaining wall and shading of adjacent apple tree.

Oak (OA1) -(semi mature) planted at rear boundary of Silverhill. Eastern side of canopy suppressed by adjacent property. Majority of canopy extending over garden lawn area of the Silverhill property requesting permission to shorten a number of secondary branches by approximately 1.5m to maintain size of tree in relation to garden and to maintain levels of light to lawn and border areas below. Section of canopy to be worked on is only visable from the rear of Silverhill property and as such how low amenity value.
