Crown raise Oak over driveway to 4m by removing one secondary limb back to junction. Side prune house facing canopy by shortening branches approximately 1.5m. Work designed to maintain distance of canopy away from the property and maintain levels of light to the front windows.

Oak (OA2) - Dead branch at 4m, dead branch at 5m overhanging pathway, stag heading starting to occur, debris around base of tree. Remove significant deadwood out of canopy including stag head. Oak (OA3) - Significant deadwood over house and driveway. Deadwooding to canopy. Oak (OA4) - Deadwood over driveway. Deadwooding to canopy. Oak (OA5) - Bulge wood/fiber buckling at 1.5m, tree appears to have been heavily reduced on southside leaving it heavily weighted on the northern sides, tear from broken out branch at 15m. 20% Crown reduction to alleviate weight stress on the tree and removal of significant deadwood. Beech (BE3) - Branches severely squirrel damaged, leans heavily towards main road. Low amenity value, potential for failure due do the squirrel damage and in close proximity to the road. Reduce to ground level.

Tree 1 - Oak tree - positioned on the border at the rear of 6 Partridge Ride. Tree has not had any work undertaken on it for at least 6 years, if not many more. This is a large oak tree that is also located very near to the electricity pylon to the side of the property. The request is for the tree to undergo a crown lift, crown reduction and general thinning/dead wooding to reduce risk of the tree reaching towards/interfering with the electricity pylon, to address the issue of low branches impacting users of the adjacent footpath, provide additional light into the rear garden and to balance the tree. Tree 2 - mature scots pine - 16 metres high with a crown spread of 7 metres. During recent snow fall a large branch broke off and embedded itself upright in the grass on the house side of the tree. The tree requires crown lifting to remove lower branches at risk of breaking, a crown reduction to reduce the size of the crown and remove any risk of further breakages impacting the house during strong winds (an ongoing concern and one that has recently increased in likelihood following the recent near miss of a large branch), and general thinning/dead wooding.

Mature Ash tree - two lower branches to be reduced back to main stem. Branch 1 extends over Ivy Bank Cottage. This branch is over extended and it would benefit adjacent trees and the aesthetic of the Mature Ash is it was removed. Branch 2 extends over the neighbouring property (The Bungalow). This removal of this branch would maintain the aesthetic balance of the tree and would maintain reasonable levels of light into the back of the house and garden below.

Scots Pine - clear roofline by a distance of 2m. 1x over extended branch growing high above roofline to be shortened by approx 1.5m to lessen lever arm and reduce likelihood of failure. Oak - reduce branches on the north west (house facing side) section of the canopy by approx 1.5m to maintain size of tree in relation to the garden and maintain levels of light to the rear aspect of the property and patio area. Crown lift to 4m by removing lowest 7 limbs/branches.

1x early/mature Lime (L1) - 2m crown reduction on Western/housefacing stem and 1m side prune. No work to remaining canopy. Reasons for work: upon the site visit on 02/12/20 it was noted that the tree in question, whose trunk bifurcates at approx 5m, leaving a co-dominated stemmed canopy with equal percentage of canopy spread over the two limbs. The main fork at 5m is the area of concern as there appears to be signs of included bark and trunkation. Works designed to reduce co-dominance of house facing stem to lessen the likelihood of future failure.

Prune 3 trees - please see attached letter NOTE; 3 Tower Road is the fourth house from Eccleshall Road on the right.
