Willow tree within grounds of Falcon Mews Part of G2: reduce canopy encroachment into 7 Marples Mews back to boundary fence. Reason: The Willow is nearly touching the house and is constantly dropping debris. The willow is starting to over power her garden and would like a little more natural light.

Amended works specification T1 Yew has been withdrawn for the 211 Notice and no longer to be considered. 2. Ash tree - the proposal is for it to be felled- in the corner of the front garden- its branches overhang onto the roundabout and this is a hazard as er have witnesses lorries hit the branches as they are driving. * the way the tree is growing is that is pushing against the fence which will over time be damaged by the tree * the tree blocks out much light in the front room - hence room is always cold- mould in it last Winter * do not plan to replace - it is on a corner and hazardous to oncoming traffic at the roundabout- nor do we want the fence to be compromised as it is being now 3- Holly tree- would like this to be felled- it has a * low amenity value- blocks out light and we had to have a holly tree felled years ago as it was bending towards the roof of the house and a health and safety hazard

Propose cutting back branches that touch my house and or overhanging my garden to help stop the 'resin' fallout making my footpaths, summer house, fence, roof ect very sticky - it is very messy and probably unhealthy it is also diseased - leaves fall out in spring and are 'crinkly'. Retrospective application to retain tree house in garden and boundary fence with associated works (amended description)

Proposal: T3 Sycamore 11m M Good Twin stem at c.5m, hosts small diameter deadwood in the canopy. The tree has been damaged in the storms. Reduce the whole tree to sound timber leaving no scars to 8m in height. T4 Sycamore 12m M Good Historic stem damage, overhangs garden, twin stemmed at c2m. Girdled roots, overhanging fence. Branches close to the fabric of the house, No. 1 Waxwing Way, old pruning wounds. Cut back lion tailed branches to boundary level Tip back overhang to boundary line, this will remove 10% of the side of the canopy encroaching the garden.

Sycamore tree: reduce canopy spread to 2m from side of house. Remove decaying north facing branch. Remove 3 east facing branches with diameter less than 10 cm - 11cm. Reduce canopy spread to 4 metres around tree. Lime tree: lift canopy to remove branches to stop encroaching fence line. Reduce spread to 3 metres from base of tree. Reason: General tree maintenance.

1. Reduce the height of the sycamore from approx 17m to approx 14m. Reduce canopy spread from 10m to 7m. This tree is a giant and we last had it reduced in 2016. Eventually it will encroach on the house again if we don't keep it under control. 2. Trim up the overhanging branches of Hawthorne, Prunus, Holly etc. on Bargate to just above fence height. We periodically get complaints from pedestrians, and it's time to pay attention to this. 3. Trim back only the Hawthorne overhanging flowerbed at Bargate end of property cutting back to main body of Hawthorne. 4. Trim back Laurel that is shading flowerbed to side of property, and also interfering with neighbour's condenser pipe and rainwater goods. Cutting back to clear the compost bins. 5. Reduce height of Cypressus at rear of property to 6m. They are very fast growing and we anticipate our rear neighbours will be contacting us soon to ask us to take care of them. 6. Finally, an overgrown Elder has been revealed in the back corner. It is covered in ivy, half dead, and we would like to have it removed.
