Demolition of two-storey side extension and outbuilding; Alterations to internal layout, erection of two-storey/single-storey side and rear extensions and conversion/extension of existing outbuilding to provide artist's studio

The proposal looks to create two independent units (as per the original layout) by blocking the modern opening on the ground floor linking Orchard Cottage to the original apple and pear store. Alterations to the independent dwelling to the west will include the removal of a portion of the south wall together with the demolition of some modern internal partitions and a new extension towards the south to accommodate new communal spaces.

Extension and internal alterations to include demolition of two-storey rear extension and erection of single-storey rear extension, installation of painted timber doorcase, alterations/repairs to fenestration, re-rendering of external walls, installation of tiles extraction terminals, removal of internal partition walls and staircase/installation of new walls and openings, removal and installation of fixtures/fittings and new dry lining.
