TW/20/2422 | Tree Works in a Conservation Area

Providence House 104 High Street Blakeney Holt Norfolk NR25 7NX

Application to fell Birch tree of estimated 40 feet height, due to close proximity to house. The tree is progressively leaning towards the house and would definitely cause structural damage to the kitchen area extension were it to be blown down in a storm. It is estimated that the angle of incline is at least 15 degrees from the perpendicular. This angle of incline is gradually increasing. In addition the roots appear to be lifting the adjacent patio flag stones and predictably the roots are moving towards the house.
