Variation of condition 2 (trees, shrubs and hedgerows) of planning permission PF/96/0896 to allow for removal of hedge along rear boundary and erection of 2 metre high close boarded fence to replace it

Two Horse chestnuts situated on a parcel of land both growing over the boundary fence and very close to the house (Treetops), proposing to a three meter reduction on side lateral branches

T1- SYCAMORE - TO REDUCE BACK LATERAL BRANCHES TO BOUNDARY FENCE OR NEAREST GROWTH POINT ENCROACHING TOWARDS 16 AINSWORTH ROAD G1 - GROUP OF CONIFERS TO PRUNE BACK TO STOP ENCROACHMENT

Trees 1-20 Self seeded sycamores that have been previously pollarded. I have received a letter from a neighbour asking for these trees to be pollarded again as they are shading their garden and house with branches overhanging their boundary and fence line. Tree 21 A sycamore that has two main trunks rising from ground level, one of which has decay near the bottom and has a bias towards static caravans sited nearby. The other trunk is upright. I would like to remove the upper half of the decayed trunk to ease the weight load on the tree. Trees 22-28 Sycamore trees. These tree have been previously pollarded and I would like to reduce them further so they could be cut in line with the existing hedge row, around 4 meters. They are very near to touring caravans creating excessive shading and damage to grassed ares below. Tree 29 An elder tree / bush that has decay at the roots. This tree is overhanging the public pavement on Carr Lane and I would like to remove it for safety reasons.

MAIN APPLICATION TREE WORKS 1 1, T1 & T2 - Copper Beech trees - in front garden next to the road. Aim - to lift the crown - clean and clear dead wood with a reduction of 10% 2, T3 - Norway Maple - drive way. Aim - to lift the crown, reshape/balance (currently lopsided) crown clean with a reduction of 10% 3, G1 - rear garden area 2 poor quality Fir trees next to the garage, west side of garden Aim - remove. 1 poor quality Fir tree beneath the Holm Oak, west side of garden Aim - remove Unidentified Evergreen tree - between Holm Oak and Silver Birch - west side rear garden. Aim - Crown reduction to reduce the overall size and shape thus allowing more light to the Silver Birch Tree. A reduction of 5ft. Silver Birch Tree - rear garden Aim - Crown clean to remove dead and dying wood to prolong life of the tree. Eucalyptus Tree - east side of garden Aim - Crown reduction by 10-15% its height and proximity to our eastern boundary. It's height has become a concern to our elderly neighbour at no 76a. Elder tree - east side of garden adjacent to neighbour no 78 fence and shed. Aim - remove as dead. We intend to plant new trees once the works have been completed. Currently we have 2 new apple trees and a Persian Ironwood tree to be added to the garden in G1. We are liaising with our arborealist about sourcing suitable trees.

Crown raise Tree numbers 166884 (Silver Maple), 166880 (Silver Maple), 166876 (Silver Maple), 166860 (Norway Maple) to raise the canopy to 5m over the Highway and Security fencing and reduce branches to provide 2.5m clearance from the studio. 2. Fell Tree no. 166864 (Norway Maple) to ground level as per 2019 report by Iestyn Griffith. 3. Crown raise tree no 166888 (Lime), Lime, to 5m over the road, and reduce to clear the building by 2.5m as recommended in the 2019 report. 4. Crown raise tree no 166892 (Lime), Lime, to 5m over the road, and reduce to clear the building by 2.5m as recommended in the 2019 report and clear epicormic growths

T1 - Re-Pollard T2 - Reduce Crown to Fence line

Birch T1 and T2 to remove as root heave, close proximity to a fence overlooking residential road and telephone wires and has became unstable in high winds and 2nd tree is dead. Hawthorn T3 to remove as in inappropriate position next to flint wall next to church cemetary and footpath

Team to attend site to clear a two meter strip around perimeter fence and crown lift trees to 5m by completely removing branches whilst on site with equipment clean out gutters whilst on site on buildings. Length of perimeter 365m. To cut back and crown raise trees along main road following council notice to 6m length of trees along the road 220m.

Proposal to coppice and thin trees planted back in 2000 - 2001, over an area of approximately 15 acres (including 40 holiday home plots). This proposal involves coppicing approximately every 2 in 10 trees, and felling every 1 in 10 Scots Pine trees, that were densely planted in the winter 2000 to 2001. Approximately only 20 percent of the total area would be coppiced/ thinned each winter starting from winter 2020 to 2021. The trees have an average length of 5 metres and an average mid-diametre of 25cm. Approximately 30 trees would be felled each year. All the coppiced trees would be allowed to re-grow and a re-stocking scheme would also be carried out using a native mix of tree species such as Hazel, Hawthorne, Field Maple, English Oak, Rowan, Beech and so on. All would be protected by deer proof fencing. The aim of this proposal is to encourage and establish an understorey to this part of the woodland to increase the wildlife value and help visually shield the holiday homes located throughout the area.
