Remove a dead hawthorn tree that partially collapsed into nearby trees and is overhanging the rear garden of 5 Briar Mead. In addition clear over hanging branches up to 2.5 metres from ground level that are overhanging the fence line to allow the installation of a new boundary fence and to protect the roof of the garden shed that sits underneath the trees as the felt is being ripped and damaged.

Ash (T1) Reduce back the main scaffold limbs and secondary laterals to the fence line of 101 The Downs. High pedestrian use area below the tree. Reduce back the limbs on the rest of the tree by approx 2-2.5m to reduce end weight. This tree has stage 2, ADB.

Maple and Ash Tree - Reduce sides by 2.5m back to fence line to provide clearance.

T - 1 Beech tree crown lift to 5 mtrs prune back to fence only. T - 2 Robinia tree re-balance one sided crown by removing up to 1.5 mtrs on east side of canopy only. T - 3 Horse chestnut remove to ground level as this twin stemmed has no amenity value and replant a species more appealing. T - 4 Sweet chestnut crown reduction by 2 mtrs, reduce main stem height by 1.5 mtrs to allow for regeneration (owners are up for further discussion on this if not acceptable).
