Replacement of damaged & plastic black Vitrolite tiles, relocation of good tiles to spaces at higher level. Repainting of the corner canopy (signage updated following advert consent application). The existing hoardings and shopfronts including the fabric canopies to be removed. New replacement shopfront in glass and timber frame. Existing black painted doors and vents to be re-painted. Replacement of all the existing black ceramic tiles with like for like. A sample has been submitted for approval. The white tiles to the remainder of the facade are to be cleaned and the cracks filled with a colour matching grout. The canopy is to be repainted and the signage updated (subject to further signage application). The existing hoardings and the non-original (assumed) shopfronts under including the fabric canopies where applicable are to be removed. Either a new flush hoarding with a shop-front style graphic on applied vinyl or an actual new replacement shopfront in glass and timber will be installed depending on funds. Existing black painted doors timber to the escape doors and vents is to be re-painted. A temporary works hoarding in front of scaffolding to Regent Street and Walliscote Road will be required during the works.
