G1: Crown reduce by 1-1.5metres trees overhanging boundary (reduce to boundary line).

T1 - Holly - roadside boundary of church. Fell to ground level and remove stump.

T1 - Lawsonn Cypress - Remove easterly stem growing againnst wall. Reduce height of remaining crown by 1m & trim sides. T2 - Bay - Crown reduction by 2m & crown lift to 3m over footpath. T3 - Holly - Remove major deadwood, reduce remaining crown by 2m and cut back to boundary of 29 Montpelier

G1 - Mixed Variety of Small Evergreen/Deciduous Trees and Shrubs along front boundary of the property grounds - Reduce all to approximately 1.5 metres maximum below the nearest of multiple BT wires crossing the site as part of routine maintenance.

T - 1 - T - 3) 3 x Holm oaks crown reduction (to previous points) and back to boundary due trees touching neighbouring property leading to squirrels getting onto roof and nesting in loft.

Permission is being sought to remove six beech trees in the rear garden of 66 Long Ashton Road. The trees are beech trees and approximately 12 feet in height. Unfortunately the trees have been planted at the garden boundary where the roots are applying excessive pressure to a retaining wall. This would have originally been a hedge which has been left to grow. A structural survey of the wall has confirmed that the wall is at risk of collapse due to the trees and is putting a neighbouring property at risk on Wells Close. Urgent repair work to the wall is required and due to the position of the trees they can't be retained.

T1 - Conifer - Reduce height by 1.5m and trim lateral growth. T2 - Bay - Reduce height by 2m. T3 - Holly - Reduce height by 2m. T4 - Smokebush - Reduce crown by 1.5m. T5 - Holly - Reduce height of multiple stems by 2m. T6 - Holm Oak - 1.5m crown reduction. T7 - Bay - trim and reduce to match neighbour's side. T8 - Cherry - Reduce back to boundary line

Ash - rear garden of 51 Main Road - reduce low lateral overhanging 1 Southview Close to boundary line

T1 - English Yew - Mature specimen. Rooted tightly between house and road boundary retaining wall. Reduce eastern aspect of crown to give 1-1.5m clearance of building and shape to give the tree a balanced crown outline. Crown lift to give 2m clearance above ground level in the garden and 5.2m clearance above road level on western/ roadside aspect of crown (Highways Regulations). Also, sever ivy at base using hand tools only.

We are looking to fell a total of 53 conifer trees and a bay. 18 of the Conifers and the bay are in very close proximity to a wall protected under the conservation area, cracks along the wall and adjoining garage, show that the long term survival of the wall is being affected by the location of the trees. The remaining conifers we wish to fell are taking vast amounts of sunlight out of our garden, the conservation area, and in particular the neighbours over the road. They are grossly oversized and are of course a non native species which isn't in keeping with the surrounding forest and adjoining orchard. We are aiming to plant 5 apples, and 35 bay trees (to form a natural hedge along the protected wall to the east and to the boundary to the north) in their place. We have spoken to an arborist who has advised that felling is the most appropriate measure to ensure the survival of the protected wall, improve natural light and to return the plot to a more natural appearance in keeping with its surroundings.
