Listed building consent for internal and external alterations to Dial Cottage, works include, repairing of windows, timber and cast iron guttering, external painting and rendering, replacement /repair of windows, timber fence to rear, removal of wooden gate, damp proofing, removal of modern timer partition walls, updating/installation of ground floor bedroom and bathroom, updating of electrics, plumbing, heating, hot water, ventilation, redecoration throughout, external rear garden landscaping, reinstalment of Heritage open days (Revised plans received 27.01.2022 and 10.02.2023)

There is a wrought iron fence to the front of the building on either side of the main entrance, access is restricted to maintain the grounds maintenance due to health and safety reasons, we would like to make an amendment to the fence on either side where a gate would be created for access, in keeping with the type and style of the fence and using as much of the original materials as possible.

Reconstruction of collapsed areas of curtilage listed wall and general like for like repairs. Removal of fixed metal fencing and erection of timber fencing above western boundary wall (to stand independent of the wall structure)

Reinstatement of ground floor to basement staircase together with associated works. Replacing timber fencing with traditional metal railings
