Fell cherry T1 as close as practicable to ground level as it is at risk of causing damage to front wall. Crown reduce T2 by 1m and remove lowest house side branch to reduce shading.

T2 - Elm - Neighbours tree to prune overhang away from house and back to boundary. The site is within The Green, Wallsend conservation area.

Removal of silver birch in back garden/yard. Planted in close proximity to house and wall by the previous occupant. The tree is in an inappropriate location and is already beginning to cause damage to a brick wall. The tree is not visible from a public street as enclosed in a small backyard area

T1 - Willow - Pollard at 5 meters. A willow tree of approximately 12-14m height is positioned to the front garden of the property approximately 7m away from the house. The tree has been trimmed back in the past to control its growth and it is estimated that the tree is around 20 years old based on photographs of the property. The property concerned is Grade II listed and situated within the camp terrace conservation area in north shields to which it is appreciated that the area is recognised for its tree-lined streets and leafy character. The willow tree is currently in an overgrown and uncontrolled state with branch growth encroaching upon the roof of the building with leaves regularly collecting into the building's front gutter and thus an increased need for regular maintenance. There is a lean of the tree's trunk toward the building which although not substantial has some impact on the tree's overall stability. The works are to involve pollarding to keep new growth below the gutter height of the property. A marked-up photograph has been provided alongside this document to highlight the extent of fabric removal. Low level hanging branches will also be trimmed up to head height level so that the tree can be walked under within the garden. Cutting the tree to the extent highlighted will help keep new growth below the gutter height of the property and allow for the tree to be more easily maintained in the future. The pollarding will also help rebalance and control the growth of the tree to counter its lean

Reduce Ash tree away from the house giving 3m clearance with no cuts larger than 2 inches

Option A (preferred option) Line of Beech trees to South and South West of property border to be felled. If this is not possible, option B - removal of smaller beech trees and pruning of the larger beech trees to allow sunlight into the property, this pruning to take place at 2-5 metres from ground level, also removal of large branches that are coming over the house. Conifers surrounding whole of the property border to be topped to a height of 6 metres from the ground. Conifers on inside of property to be trimmed back by 1/2 metre. Conifers at corner of south western border to be trimmed back 1 meter on outside. Willow tree - 1 large branch fell inside the property last year, 1 remaining branch to be lopped. Tree(unknown species) in middle of garden is diseased and half dead, to be removed

Sycamore T1: Remove 4no branches which overhang the tennis courts (email dated 25th February 2021); Sycamore T2: Target prune to remove 1no. lateral branch, approximate diameter of 200mm, back to main stem. Branch is overhanging a seating area and is considered to be a hazard; Poplar T3: Target prune to remove 1no branch back to main stem, approximate diameter of 250mm, which overhangs corner entrance of tennis courts; Poplar T4: Remove 1no lateral branch overhanging club house back to main stem; Ash T5: Remove 1no stem growing over south eastern corner of clubhouse (Description amended 01.03.2021)
