Conditions(s) Removal: The existing steel frame structure cannot carry the weight of a rosemary tile roof and solar panels (required for the desired eco properties of the extension/build) - it is therefore necessary to vary the materials and utilise an alternative that has the same aesthetic result but with better structural qualities for the build. We wish to vary the materials to the rear and replace the existing plastic roof on the existing pool area with Kingspan Roof Tile Insulated Tile Effect Roofing System in Rosemary Colour or similar product rather than actual rosemary tiles. This new proposed material would have the same aesthetic result similar to the main house roof, with additional thermal benefits and as well as being lighter in weight on top of the existing steel frame; allowing a shallower pitched roof (more in-keeping/in line with the current existing pitch of the plastic roof) than rosemary tiles and the addition of solar panels onto the existing steel frame without further structural alterations/supports etc.
