This new proposed material would have the same aesthetic result similar to the main house roof, with additional thermal benefits and as well as being lighter in weight on top of the existing steel frame; allowing a shallower pitched roof (more in-keeping/in line with the current existing pitch of the plastic roof) than rosemary tiles and the addition of solar panels onto the existing steel frame without further structural alterations/supports etc.
