My wife would like to be able to work from our home as a hairdresser. We have an existing brick built outbuilding in our building that will be used for this purpose. We converted our current house 5 years ago from a commercial property (formally the Flaxdressers pub and later Saffron Blue Indian resturant) so it is currently a residential only use type, and we need to change it to mixed-use I believe. Please advise if this is not the case. Access to and from the highway remains the same as when the property was commercial and has sufficient turning area to exit facing the highway. The outbuilding requires only minor building works such as replacement windows/door and insulated plasterboarding internally.
