Listed Building Consent for alterations to existing first floor studio apartment to form single room apartment with toilet washroom. New separating wall. Alterations to form 2 bedroom apartment on first floor with sitting room, bathroom and staircase to ground floor, form lobby and staircase, utility room and kitchen at groundfloor. Removal of dilapidated roof from lean to on rear elevation, form service area and new store outbuildings. Provide 2no. raised window openings for egress/rescue on first floor rear elevations and new openings at ground floor. Replace slate roof over apartment/workshop and single storey stores. Repointing work to elevations and repair stonework.

Proposed alterations to internal apartment layouts and replacement and rearrangement of external windows to reflect the internal layout alterations.

Renovation of Apartments 5 (Farne Haven), 6 (Gulls Crest) and 7 (Cragg End) to alter the internal layouts to provide open plan living/dining/kitchen rooms and improve the bedroom sizes and bathroom/en-suite sizes, including replacement and reconfiguration of the external windows to this section of the building to reflect the internal layout alterations. These works are the first phase of a total building renovation.
